Great camera. A definite improvement over the DL-1
This trail camera(model DL-2) works great and is an improvement over the previous model (DL-1) with the addition of two more motion sensors allowing for the camera to start recording prior to the intended target entering the cameras viewing area. Picture quality during both day and night time are very nice. Very easy to see what it is that crosses the cameras path. At times it seems that the motion detection is a bit too sensitive though. There seems to be a lot of pictures taken when there was nothing there to trigger the camera (I’m still testing that theory though).Initial setup is quick and easy. Once unboxed, add either 4 or 8 AA batteries, move the selector switch to “setup” and navigate through the small sub menus to select your preferred settings ( for myself, I opt for 12mb still photos and 720p video captures). Be sure to install a micro SD card to store your files. The product listing and product documentation says a max of 32gb for the SD card, but I’m finding it works just fine with my 128gb SD cards. The camera comes with multiple mounting options such as a base that can be anchored via screws or with a nylon strap to wrap around trees and such.Overall, I’m very happy with the product, very impressed with the photo quality, and I like how I can use either 4 or 8 batteries to power the camera. Buyers of this trail camera will not regret the purchase.

Great camera for the money
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. This camera has the same features as game cams twice its' price! It's great having an LCD screen inside the camera and controls so everything is easy to set up ( it's my first with a screen ). Over all it is very intuitive and easy to use. I was able to set it up without referring to the manual. Only a few features didn't mean anything to me but the manual explains those. One "down side" is it has no internal storage, so you'll want to pick up a micro-sd card right away. I think internal storage has pretty much gone away as it was always so small as to be useless for anything but testing, so no big loss.Another thing to note is that the battery cover is hard to open. I would recommend you bring a butter knife with you if you are planning on changing the batteries while in the woods. I simply couldn't get it open with just my hands. The image qualify is excellent! I'm very happy with its performance in all types of light. My example photo and image are from a very dim basement and I think they are excellent in quality.Overall I think this camera is a great value for what you get as far as qualify and functionality go!

Great camera for the money!
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Overall the camera performs great. Very easy to setup. You can choose from 4 capture modes, Photo, Video, Timelapse, and Photo & Video. You have 6 photo resolutions to pick from, with the highest quality being 14 MP (4416 x 3312 Pixels) There are 5 video resolutions to choose from. The highest quality video is 1920 x 1080P!!! You can also record up to a 10-minute long video! I chose to go with both photo and video. I am using this to capture whitetail tail deer on my hunting property although you could use it capture a number of animals. You also could use this camera for home security. The camera came with a tree strap and a bracket that you can use to mount the camera to a wall, a post, a tree, or many other things. I opted to use a camera stand that I have the screws into the bottom of the camera. I had the camera out for two weeks and it captured 1646 - 10-sec videos and 3292 - 14mp photos. I choose to use 8 AA batteries, but you also have the option to use 4. When went to pull the SD card the camera was on 75% battery life so I was pleased with the battery life.I attached a few of the pictures that I got with this camera.

Outstanding option for a trail camera
This camera has exceeded my expectations. The pictures are of great quality, even in the dark. Resolution rivals any digital camera. Set up was simple (used an inexpensive Kingston brand 32GB micro SD card) and the strap holds unit nicely to a tree or post. Countless uses around the home and garden, waiting for this summer to find out what attacks my garden plants and when (display and picture shows time and temperature, as shown in the description pictures for item)! If I had any complaint it would be the buttons, usb port and SD card port are a bit tight to access, but it isn't a problem as you can delete and view from the camera interface or using an included usb cable to your computer (worked very easy and was viewed as an external storage device on my PC to enable larger picture and video display). Second item from this manufacturer and pleased by both purchases. Included a picture of a deer caught on the third night. Did find that after a heavy rain storm it say on "welcome" screen on all tabs, but has been functional since.

Great camera for the price!
I will preface by saying that I have only used this camera for a little while, so I can't speak to it's long term durability or battery life. What I can say though is that for the price this camera is a good bang for the buck. It has a nice viewer screen which makes setting up the camera much easier and is typically a feature only found on more expensive game camera. You can view the pictures right on the camera too which I love. It is a very low glow camera too which helps not spook animals. So far I have been impressed with the picture quality and detection circuitl. It seams that the extra PIR sensors and trigger speed really help make sure you don't miss anything walking by. Nothing worse than just seeing the tail of a deer as they walked by. So far I haven't had that with this camera. The only negatives that I have found with this camera is that it only accepts micro-sd cards. This is not a huge deal for me though since I had some laying around. It also could use a little higher quality tree strap, but so far the current one has worked well. Time will tell. It's not the quality of a $200 camera or anything but for the price (especially with the $8 coupon) it has been a great camera to add to my collection and not break the bank.
