Why did you pick this product vs others?:In many years after I bought my first, I have not seen a competitor to the Oxo brush. It's a good thing that it is so well designed and constructed. The brush feels terrific in my hand and is easy to maneuver into tight spaces. It has a screw-top handle where I keep a supply of dish detergent for particular situations. Most of the time, the brush doesn't need help.I works extremely well with hard to clean items — I use it on oven racks after broiling chicken. It was handy tonight cleaning sticky pasta stuck on a fine mesh colander.Great tool.Value for money:It's is inexpensive for what it is, so I have 2.

Great tool for the sink. I don't wash dishes unless I have this. Bristles don't last as long as I wish they did but still pretty good. Perfect size for the palm of your hand.. would recommend.

Absolutely fantastic dish brush! Nice and stiff, yet not scratchy. Soap dispenser works great. Nice high quality construction for a change! Even the holder is special. Worth every dime of the price, as far as I'm concerned!!!

OXO always delivers great kitchen gadgets, and this soap-dispensing palm brush set is no exception. I love how compact and space-efficient it is, with the included drain base taking up minimal counter space. The base is thoughtfully designed, allowing the brush to drain properly while also being easy to rinse or clean when needed. The brush itself is well-made, with sturdy yet gentle bristles that effectively scrub without worrying about scratching pans. The soap reservoir holds a good amount, and the top-dispensing mechanism releases just the right amount without wasting soap. I also appreciate the improved plug-style dispenser, which is much easier to use and replace the stop when refilling compared to some of the older stem-piece designs. All in all, it's a well-designed and convenient kitchen tool that will get lots of use! Definitely recommended!

Excellent product only one flaw. It is next to impossible to meet my base standards, but this comes close. The flaw is the size of the docking cup. It is about 1" too small in diameter and the bristles can snag on the edge and then become bent up after sitting until next use. It just gets worse from there unless you let the brush sit out of the cup for a day. The prevention is to spin the brush in the cup a little when you redock... this pops the bristles off the lip. It's interesting how I discovered this after just a week of use, and I'm just a dumb customer. Supposedly very educated designers and engineers create these things, yet this happens ALL THE TIME with products. They need to hire real people to do at least ONE WEEK of real-world testing or explore how real people live. It doesn't leak soap, so there's that. Recommended with a smirk.

I've used these for years now, and the most annoying thing about them was 1.) The threads in both the body and the brush were plastic, and it was very easy to over-tighten the brush and break the male threaded portion of the body, requiring replacement. And 2.) The 1-way valve where the soap comes out was so strong that it would stop dispensing soap when you had 20-30% left (since air compresses more easily that fluids).They've redesigned both the body and the brushes now!The brush now attaches with a simple bayonet connection, only requiring a 1/8th turn, and a change to either the 1-way valve or the piston/membrane on top of the body (or a combination of the two) means that you can easily dispense soap all the way down to about 5% capacity, which is when I'd refill it anyway.They also made the new brush design backwards-compatible by retaining the female threaded hole in the middle, so the consumable portion should work with whatever version of the body you have. Just be careful that you don't accidentally buy new-old-stock versions of the brushes if you have the new body.

UPDATE: Actually 2 updates, first one, I was getting a bit annoyed having to constantly fill with dish soap, because I was completely rinsing between each dish, I finally realized you don't have to do that, you squirt it out once and it stays soapy for tons of dishes!! Now I actually SAVE on dish soap! Update # 2, I was using this ONLY for dishes, then today I was working with Panko breadcrumbs, and you know you have to dip into flour, then egg, then the panko so it makes a mess, I had a mess all over my counters, by the time it was time to clean it up I had a real struggle with the egg and flour drying onto the counter tops, I grabbed this little guy and it just scrubbed right off in under 10 seconds, omg!! Now, I am ordering a second one because it is good for the whole kitchen not just dishes. I really love this little guy, I wash a lot of my utensils by hand since my dishwasher is old and leaves white marks on color items, so this is just what I needed, it looks cute sitting on my sink and it works really well. I do love the OXO brand a lot, but one word of advice since I hit a snag with the them on another item: if something comes to you broken, Amazon will tell you to contact OXO, and OXO will send you back to Amazon, so it is Amazon who needs to send the replacement. Also, If you check out the OXO site itself, they have bundles there for a great value, but here OXO sells those bundles seperately.

I’ve been using this product well over a year and it makes doing dishes so much easier! I rinse the dishes in the sink with hot water and then I use the brush which has soap in it and soap all of it up at the same time and then I do one more hot rinse, and I’m done with dishes! Afterwards, I rinse the brush and it’s ready for the next use. I love this product!
