Great winch
Wired following the directions and had no issues. The wireless remote works great as does the wired. Use it for recovery and dragging logs out of the woods (overkill for logs but who cares.)

Nice winch
This winch seems to be built like a tank. It comes with TWO wireless remotes and one wired remote. I’ve got nothing bad to say about it. I do wish it wasn’t orange, but already knew by the picture it was.

very heavy
had to modify the control box mounting due to restriction on space. need at least 2 people to install long time for delevery Have not used yet, but everything works nice that they included 2 remotes. If you are installing behind bumper be aware that cord connection and winch release will be hard to use

Broke
Used this thing one time and the synthetic rope broke. Unfortunately I didn't set it up until recently and my return window has closed already. Synthetic rope is not as good as they claim it is.. They claimed they would give me a full return but I haven't received anything

Nice winch but missing overload protector
Winch looks great and fits great but I am missing the overload protector in order to properly test.

Just finished installing it, it does work. I haven't used it under load yet, I'll update my review when I do so. Update: got my 7000lb diesel truck stuck pretty good, went 2 feet deep in soft mud. The 12500 winch seemed to pull well, and it still works after lol. The 2 other trucks that tried to help (even though they were 1500s), couldn't get me unstuck.

Day 2 Spent the time installing it did a loose spool on the rope and then this morning took it out to properly spool it, and the winch died as soon as it was under load it pulled for about 5 seconds and ten just stopped no warning no nothing just died, I had to unscrew the rope from the winch and throw it in the back of the Jeep to drive home. Check all connections when I got home no issues there just a dead winch. WOULD NOT BUY AGAIN Day 1 bought this for my jeep and had a chance to install and test it the other night, the instructions are bad but the install was straight forward. I wish the battery cable we 8 inches longer just to make it easier to get tucked away. As far as the first test wasn't pulling much but just respooling and pulling the weight of my vehicle but no issues.
