No it doesnt. You will have an internet link where you can download it. save the planet ! ;-) Seriously ... the manual is very complete and easy to understand. You will also find loads of online tutorials to learn how to best use the calculator. It is one of the most used and documented calculator.

Does the calculator come with a protective hard plastic sliding case / sleeve to protect the front which can then be slid onto the back when using it?

Yes it was in a protective case and very secure

Does this calculator have a touchscreen and what is the size of the screen?

The screen is approx 6.4x4.8cm. It is not a touchscreen device but instead has a trackpad below the screen to control the cursor.
