The part will also help to prevent wear & damage of the cable located under rear light.ABOUT THE VIBRATION DAMPERSIt is made of rubber for the folding stem, which otherwise will wear from vibrations. We do not recommend using plastic damper or "PLA bracket" for this purpose. They are quickly destroyed. The flexible damper eliminates all looseness and squeaking and the flexible material will reduce some of the vibrations.Installation:1) Take out the rubber covers and take 3 screws out (on the mudguard part)2) Slightly turn the mudguard left or right and you should be able to unplug the rear light's cable (white connector)3) Remove the side covers4) Try on the mudguard and see if it's going to fit well. If it doesn't you can cut the sides a bit, but our model should fit easily5) Undo rear light screws, put the bracket in a correct way and screw it in using the same screws. What a joke..
Only one of the rubber cushions actually fit and stayed for a ride or two then lost the second one when folding scooter and putting in car.But the worst part of this purchase was how the measurements for the mud guard supporter would prevent it from holding the mud guard in place without those two side (clips or whatever) popping out from each side and rattling all the way home so loud to where it catches on something and instead of making sure your mud gaurd stays in tact, it breaks it!

Adds a bit of charisma to the scooter!
I just recently bought my scooter and I had heard about possible rattling with wear and also possible wear to the brake cable if the fender hit the wheel. So, I bought me these to protect my investment and although I don't need the vibration dampers yet, the fender guard actually not only protects my brake light cable, but if also makes the scooter look nicer! Well to me at least. Nice little product!

Does the job sorta...
It works but if you hit a large bump then the sides will come unclipped and very noisy you must stop to re adjust and then will happen again on the next bump. Get one that screws in on the sides. It is more work on the install but less head ache in the long run.

Awesome accessory for Swagger 5
Great product for the swagger 5! I installed it and it makes the rear fender tons stiffer, basically a rock now. Install was simple but confusing at first as the scooter’s tail light had glue that needed to be removed from the wires but just a bit of peeling got the job done! I recommended it to my buddy who also got the swagger 5.

Bad rubber parts, Bracket great though.
Bracket worked fine, but the rubber parts wouldn’t allow my scooter to close.

My xiaomi scooter been asking for one of this cause my fender been shaking like a vibrater but now it’s better with this fender support no more vibration hell yeah!!!!!
