Bought this back in 5/2020 to have as a portable charger but have only recently started using it regularly due to new work location in 5/2022. Charger works excellently and with the rugged build it is perfect for outdoor type use which is how it is being used currently. The long cord also adds to it's flexibility when charging at off site locations. Charge times are robust when compared to my home charger (240V/50amps), work is 208V/50amps and this charges faster than at home. Work has an almost direct connection from the 208V to the charger, no long run like at home hence the quicker times. This charger has the ability to accept all levels of voltage without any issues.Highly Recommended !12/01/2023 update - Have used this charger almost every work day (Monday thru Friday) for the past 14 months at an external unprotected location (can get wet when it rains) and have had zero issues. Very happy with the purchase !

I installed this about 6 months ago and it's working really well. 120v charger that came with my 2012 chevy volt was super slow. This one though? Full charge in 3 hours. Most bang for the buck, this is it!

At first the charger worked fine. After a few months, I would have to unplug it and plug it back in every 3 or 4 weeks. Then last week after only using it for a little more than a year, it totally stopped working. I contacted the company BougeRV, if it really exists, and heard nothing. I have to buy a new charger. I would suggest no one buy this charger.UPDATE: The company, BougeRV, ended up contacting me and sending a replacement. They said they had attempted a reply to my initial email to them, but looks like they addressed it incorrectly. They sent me the first reply with their second reply so that I could see the mistake. In the first reply, they offered to give me $60 off on a replacement. After I wrote a review above, they offered to replace the charger. In the end, I’m grateful for the replacement and have updated my review to 4 stars. If this one lasts longer than a year, I’ll try to remember an come back with 5 stars. The charger itself is simple enough to use and when it worked, it did a fine job of charging my car.

After having been using this almost daily for a month, I can finally review it. I'll admit I had my doubts due to the price but decided I'd try it out anyway. For the record, I've been using it to charge a 2023 VW ID.4. First I used the 110v for about a week. It's slow, but expected because it's level 1. Still, I was able to fully charge (to 80% as recommended) every day. Then once I installed my 220v plug in the garage, I was able to use it for level 2 charging and it works really well. I'm able to go from about 50% to 80% in just a few hours. Since that time it has been through rain, hail, cold, blistering hot, lightning, and power outages and it never once has given me any issues. Safe to say, this is a charger that's worth every penny.

I came home and smelled burning plastic in my garage. I immediately went to remove the charger and it burned my hand. I pulled it out from the wall socket then from my Tesla. The charger handle broke off leaving the charger still in the charge port. This charger should not be sold it is a fire hazard and will seriously damage your EV. I have reached out to the company. Do not buy!

I use this for my Chevy Bolt and am extremely happy with the Level 2 charging (I generally just charge overnight). I don't use this as a travel charger, but as my main home charger as I rent and can't install a standalone unit. The cord is plenty long enough to run from my laundry room to the garage.Have had zero issues with this charger and would recommend.

I needed a level 2 charger for my Hyundai Santa Fe PHEV and this was my choice. I already have NEMA 6-20 220v power in my garage so this was a no brainier. Works just as it should - fast. The Hyundai 110v charger that came with the car like all level 1 chargers is super slow charging. I guess it's just fine if you only charge overnight but if you want to top off your EV during the day quickly then Level 2 is the only way to go.
