LUNO R20 Dimmable LED Bulb, 6.5W (45W Equivalent), 455 Lumens, 5000K (Daylight), Medium Base (E26), UL & Energy Star (6-Pack)

I usually prefer the tone of the softer white bulbs but the yellower light rarely seems bright enough for most ceiling lights. These bulbs strike a nice balance. They are exactly the brightness I need for a ceiling light without the harsh blue-light tone of daylight bulbs. I have used two of the six bulbs so far and both worked perfectly well.

Had to find replacements for the bulbs over the kitchen sink. Existing LEDs went a little south (figure the 26 years was a stretch). In truth the lights stay lite closer to 18 hours vice the "average 3 hours". Initially got 2 from Lowe's and didn't pay attention to the ratings - GE makes a decent 2700K R20, just didn't provide the daylight I needed. These work out well at 5000K and look great. Do not use them as dimmable, so no review. Compared to what I had, could use a small boost in the lumens - overall a good bulb and expect them to last a good 5 years with our usage.

Excellent price. All 6 bulbs worked out of the box. Nice soft white light. Couldn't have asked for anything more. Now we will see how long they last. 20 years like the package says, with a guarantee of 5 years? We'll see. But they will last longer than a year (at best) that the current incandescent bulbs last. New LEDs consume 6 Watts each versus the 45 Watts of each incandescent bulb they are replacing, while providing more lumens. Seems like a solid purchase.

When the bulbs are on for extended amount of time the bulbs are no longer dimmable. I have to turn them off and back on again for them to dim again. Also two of the recessed lighting fixtures had bulb to socket contact issues. Older bulbs worked fine, news LED bulbs had to make contact perfectly for the bulb to work. I will keep them in for time being or until the another problem arises.

I liked this product a lot. The LED color matches perfectly the remaining incandescent bulbs in the array. To be replaced with the remaining new bulbs on the box.The Dimming curve varies ( of course) with the incandescent bulbs being those a little more linear than the LED ones so do not expect the brightness to match 1:1 with incandescent below 60% of dimming range. LED will become less bright faster.But if you do not care for that, it is right on at full brightness.

I was looking for a brighter bulb for my kitchen and these worked really well for me. I really like the white bright light, and the energy savings are a nice bonus. Wish they were a little cheaper, but they should outlast my old bulbs.

I have an older piece of office furniture that uses this size bulb. However, the older bulbs I found had a harsh light and burned out every 6 months. I saw these online and gave them a shot as they are LED and energy star rated. What a difference! These have a nice cool light that is less harsh than the old bulbs. I haven’t had them long enough to know about longevity but they cannot be worse than my old Westinghouse bulbs. If you are looking for an LED bulb these will do the trick at a reasonable price. I will order again.
