Item is GREAT and just what I always wanted. I wanted something like this for years. I do not have a dog; I have a pickup truck and before had a SVU. I sell items for a living, and when I fill the backseat with merchandise, it can fly forward into me when I'm driving. I thought of the metal barriers that they have in cargo vans and wanted something similar for my SUV. I found out about this item in a forum about restraining dogs and thought this might be the item for me. It does exactly what I wanted it to do, and customer support was outstanding with my questions. Now I feel safer when transporting merchandise and do not have to worry about things flying into me.

This barrier is very durable, and the steel frame makes it virtually impossible for a medium or large dog to circumvent, even on the sides. It is easy to install, although design is such that you can't adjust the front seats very much once it's in place. Another issue is that the mesh is so dense it's hard to see through, hampering your visibility of the back seat and your view out of the back windows. The tradeoff is worth it if you have a dog like mine, that can tear through or circumvent barriers that are less durable or have less coverage.

Bought it to travel 10 hours with cats. Didn’t want to crate them for that long. Used this to create partition between front and rear of SUV. It was a dream. Cats had room, I was safe from them at my feet. Win-Win

I never write reviews but have been meaning to write this one for a long time. I can not express enough how impressed I am with this! I had bought a new vehicle but often take my daughters black lab, who sheds a ton, hiking with me. I wanted something to cut back on the hair,dander,mud,dirt and dog drool getting into the rest of my car. I expected it to block most of the dirt and mud but assumed the hair and dander,being so small,wld make their way thru. Nothing comes through this!!! The rest of my vehicle is as clean as the day I bought it!! I never have to vacuum any dog hair or dirt off my back seats! I purchased a cover in addition for the floor of the back and, in combination, I cld not be happier! I recommend it to anyone and everyone with pets they travel with. I wld purchase this a thousand times over! I’ve had it since 2021 and it still works as good as it did brand new. It also holds up to him rubbing up against it to dry himself off after hiking and being in the river. Nothing has ripped or torn. There aren’t even any pulls on it! If you are looking for something to keep your vehicle clean from your adventures with your pets buy this!! I promise you you will not be sorry!!! I am so grateful to have found this!

I just got this yesterday and installed it today.- Initial Impressions -It seems very well made. Putting it together was no trouble. I have a pilot and it's practically a perfect fit - very little space on the sides, definitely not big enough for my boxer. The visibility as a driver seems great - you can barely notice it there. I haven't actually tried my dog in there yet. He's been used to riding in the middle so this might be an adjustment.- Notes -I looked at A LOT of options before picking this one. It was one of the most expensive but with what you get for fit and quality, I think it's worth it.I don't plan to keep this up unless I'm using it. It seems like it won't be too much of a hassle to put in and take out. If there was anything I'd suggest to the manufacturer, it would be making the system easier to fold down. You're supposed to tighten the screws to lock it in place but I think I'm going to try not doing that so I can fold it easier without tools. It would be awesome if it had locking hinges or something along those lines so you could easily store it.An even better idea - it would be amazing if you could fold the top half down when you don't need it. Then you could leave it in place and still pass things from the front to the back.

I tried other cheaper brands and returned them as they didn't work. This thing actually keeps my very persistent dog in the back of my Hyundai Ioniq5. Highly recommend.

I have tried so many different barriers for my outback just bought a brand new 2025 outback this barrier works amazing. Five dogs ranging from a husky to English massive to a cavalier to a Rottweiler. They all stay in the back first so I feel safe driving Amazing product.
