Does what it says...
This particular key is tapered so its wide at the bottom, and narrow at the top. A profile appropriately mimicked in this silicon case.Of course the opening to put the key in is at the narrow end at the top. This means one has to jam the wide end into the narrow opening, and then get the key all the way down... the best metaphor I have is a wide-hipped woman putting on a slinky dress by stepping into the neck opening, stretching it out, and then pulling the garment upwards... pretty awkward and unslightly, at best. downright difficult and unpleasant, otherwise.That said, its in, and we'll see how durable it is after all that distension.

Great fob cover
I have read some of the previous posts and I have no idea why they have said it is difficult to get the fob cover on. I put the fob in thru the large end it was on in like 5 sec. It looks great, like new and provide good protection . For the price it's a great deal !!

Highly Recommended
Original key fob for my 2017 Escape continually fell apart. Snuggle this "rubber" cover over and onto the fob and it holds it together, tight as a drum. Don't have to buy a new fob case for the guts.

Difficult to put on
This key cover is nice, bit difficult to put on as other reviews note. I like it. As advertised.

Protection for fobs
Cover to protect the fobs from cracking or wearing out to fast one came in and fits from on from under nethe the other one fitted on from the top I prefer the top entry item easier to put on

Cannot remove key, with cutting end open. Inherent design fall
Tight fit, hard to get on. But, once on works well.Except; there's no way to get the key out of the fob.
