RUBAN Case Compatible with MacBook Air 13 Inch (Models: A1369 & A1466, Older Version 2010-2017 Release), Slim Snap On Hard Shell Protective Cover, (Blue)

I was looking for a clear case because I had recently put stickers on my laptop and wanted to protect them from getting ruined but I also wanted to see their actual colors. The case is a standard shiny clear plastic but it doesn’t feel cheap. The edges of the case where the plastic ends show up as blue which was unexpected but I certainly don’t mind, and I kind of like it. The instructions made it simple to put on once you figure out which side is which. I’ve been using it for a week as a busy college student and I like it a lot. The material is nice quality and I like that my stickers are now protected but still completely visible. I also like the rubber stoppers on the bottom. It came with an extra set of rubber stoppers too, which is nice for when they lose stickiness and fall off.

Before using this specific MacBook case, I would either buy overpriced ones from the apple store or not use a case at all- which I do not recommend. Although the overpriced was were okay quality, it was not worth the price tag. A friend of mine told me about this brand, RUBAN. They recommended it to me and immediately, (literally) looked it up on here (amazon). I can’t say I regret my urgency.I’m one to check off many categories before making a purchase, regardless of the item. I first checked out the price. For $10 and was listed for Prime. Those two features quickly got me convinced. I then looked at the reviews. Although this step may be subjective, I still felt the need to check. And thankfully, the reviews were amazing, and turned out to be true!This MacBook case is everything you’d want and more. It’s affordable, gratefully not breaking the bank. It shipped and arrived fast, thanks to Prime. And it was quick and easy to put assemble. In less than five minutes from checking the mail, to opening the package, my laptop has a nice, new, clean and sleek look. Thanks to RUBAN’s MacBook air case. I’m considering purchasing another color, since I've covered my clear one with stickers, and probably will get sick of it sometime soon. Iif you’re questioning purchasing this MacBook case, Don’t! It’s worth the week wait (depending on where you’re located), and it’s great for the price!

This is my 3rd Ruban over the past 5 years on 3 Macs (11" & 13"). They all work great and remain interacted. Others I've tried break at the clips and corners from normal wear & tear - never dropped. The Rubans keep my computers safe and clean. They are easy to put on and take off. However, better getting on instructions would be nice. I've found that to for the top piece it works best to line it up on the hing side. Then press with your thumbs starting at the hing side sliding to the other side while applying mild to moderate pressure until you hear it clip.

This is the 2nd time I have ordered this product (in the white marble color). The first one that I had held up great, but after two years the sides of the bottom piece (that fits around the keyboard of my MacBook) started to break off. This meant that every once in awhile the bottom piece would fall off, so I needed a replacement. The bottom piece also obviously got more "wear" since it is sitting on different surfaces, is scooted around, and moved more often. There was wear and discoloration around the edges (which probably showed more because my case was white). I went ahead and ordered a second case and just replaced the bottom piece for now. (I have added several personal stickers to my top piece and did not want to replace that one QUITE yet. The top piece is still in perfect condition!).

Perfect laptop case! After buying the macbook after a long time of waiting to buy it at the price, this case has a sleek non-slip feel especially for a clumsy person like me! It covers the entire laptop and has ventilation holes on the bottom so don't worry about the case overheating the entire thing. Your apple logo won't be noticeable though if you want that glowing look. Would buy again!

Fit perfectly and was super clear! It just looked like my laptop was really shiny- that’s how well it fit! The only complaint I have is that it’s realky hard to take off, which is how it got it’s 4 star rating. Other than that everything is fine and I’ve seen other reviews upon buying his that said it scratches easily, but so far I haven’t had that problem. If you’re looking for a cheap but good quality product, this is fine but be ready to use some nails to take it off

The Ruban MacBook Air 13 Inch Case fits my MacBook Air laptop perfectly. I received my first Ruban as a gift and I liked it so much that I ordered an additional one in a beautiful Turquoise. I also like that it is hard plastic because it protects well and don't seem to add any additional weight. This was a well made purchase considering the reasonable price (10.90). For this price, I will most likely purchase more colors to switch things up a bit in the future.

When I got this item the bottom part of the case was chipped with black marks on it. I paid a lot for an item that was in terrible condition.
