Torchbearer Garlic Carolina Reaper Hot Sauce, 142ml

This is absolutely my favourite hot sauce. It is hot but not overwhelmingly so, which means you can use plenty of it without destroying the flavour of your food. It has a great, punchy element of garlic to it, with the reaper coming in after the garlic. I use this all the time and even do things like mixing it with mayo for people who don't like spice because the flavour is so good. I would also say it's pretty middle of the road in terms of thickness, not mash thick but certainly not thin either. I try so many hot sauces, and like a broad range, but this is one that's always in the fridge. I should say it does have a tendency to separate so give it a good shake before use to allow it to recover its brown/orange colour. I've had no issues with longevity and I certainly always finish the bottle before there's any chance of the sauce going bad.

Really freakin’ spicy! Was worried it wouldn’t be spicy enough after reading some of the reviews but it’s perfect for me. It’s very hot but a tolerable, enjoyable heat. And it has so much flavour too - really impressed with this sauce. Wasn’t as spicy coming out as it was going in, so that was a nice surprise!

This hot sauce is spicy and it is made with current hottest chilli peppers in world The Carolina Reaper so please treat it with a bit of caution and respect. This sauce slightly sweet, tangy, spicy and is packed full of garlic flavour. You can add this to loads of different kinds of sauces, stews, pasta to add a bit of a kick. It is amazing in burger sauce it will liven up any kind of dish it goes well with chicken, steaks, pork you can make a marinade with it for a barbecue overall and extremely tasty, spicy versatile hot sauce that you could eat with almost anything.

I've wanted to try a hot sauce from the YouTube show Hot Ones for a while, and came across this one on Amazon. I picked it because I love garlic in everything, and I think most (if not all) of the sauces are sold in America primarily? This was #7 of the 10 hot sauces in season 8 and is 116,000 on the Scoville Scale for anyone wondering. The sauce has a bright orange colour, with a fairly liquidy consistency. The flavour tastes garlicky, but something else in it seems to compete with it. I want to say it's a smoky type of flavour, but maybe it's just the taste of the Carolina reaper pepper because apparently there aren't any smoke notes. As for the heat, it's fairly hot - the type of heat that will stay on your lips and gums for a few minutes. If you're looking for heat, this will give you it temporarily. I've been using it on my veggie burgers, but I'm also going to try it in my homemade veggie curry at some point. I'm getting used to the flavour, but I will probably branch out to others.

I never ever write reviews but I had to for this. The flavour first hits you with rich, creamy garlic, then a few seconds later the heat from the pepper comes through. I've had quite a lot of hot sauces before and I can confidently say that this is by far my favourite. Anyone looking for a creamy garlic hot sauce, this is perfect. To me it is very hot, so not much is required, but it doesn't melt your face in an unpleasant way.

I love this sauce ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I have always loved super duper spicy hot food stuffs. And upon seeing this on the show "Hot one's" I immediately ordered the sauce and boy-oh-boy was I impressed. . . it tastes amazing. The garlic content is pretty decent aswell, so it has a really sweet initial taste and then BOOOM!!! Your face melts off of your skull by the tongue. Top marks from me 💖💖💖💖

Hotter than any Hot ones sauce by a long way

Bought this previously and it was yelloish and tasted great. This time around its browny orange and doesnt taste the same! Very dissapointed! No refunds.

This sauce is a 10/10 for heat, and an 8/10 for flavor. I love this brand. I think the first place I saw it and tried it was a Firehouse Subs in North Hollywood. If you like garlic, and you want a hot sauce that's too hot to be sold in a supermarket (and almost too hot to eat), I highly recommend this one. It's fantastic with fried chicken, submarine sandwiches, and burritos. Literally, just a dab is all you need. I forgot this when I opened it today, and smothered my whole fried chicken leg with the sauce and man...that was a painful first bite.

Heat hits you immediately, not too spicy but a lot of flavor. I recommend giving it a try!

This sauce was really enjoyable, the flavor and the heat go great together. At first the heat is instant and intense but after a little while it is a soothing burn . The hot sauce has a thickness of a creamy sauce . Overall I give it a 9/10

Very very very hot! The sauce is very pale which made me think it was going to be a flavour over heat kind of sauce. While very flavourful, don't be deceived into dumping it on your pizza - it is SO spicy!!!!

I finally found the best balance between flavor and spiciness/hotness. At first, I didn't like the added lime juice taste, but I started liking it after a few tastings. I can't taste the garlic in it, even though it's there. Other than that, the amount of hotness if very adequate. The amount of flavor is very nice too, it's not just a burning sensation, but a party for my taste buds. Just to compare, "Sriracha" sauce tastes like ketchup after this one :) Which is great, as sriracha became kindda dull taste-wise lately. One small side-note to the manufacturer. It would've been VERY convenient to have this sauce in a squeezable bottle, similar to the sriracha one. This way, it would've been easier to control the dispensed amount. Otherwise, I'll definitely buy more of this once I run out of it. And the price is NOT an issue. You get a specialty product, expect to pay a premium for it!
