Well-made, perfect for the 7249 kit, more uses than just ball joints - such as control arm bushings
My OTC 7249 didn't include this 7704 or the Ford 7825 tool for some reason. I think I may have purchased it for less money that way, and it was 14 years ago so it's a bit fuzzy. This 7704 has 3 main components, the smallest tool is the installer, and the 2 tubes are removers. That said, I used the installer to press out a control arm bushing on my Chevrolet Cobalt SS Turbo as it was the perfect size. To install the Powell Racing spherical control arm bushing, I'm going to have to use the middle-length tube in this 4WD service kit as that is the right size/dimension.Overall: 5/5 stars, extremely well built, OTC-quality, comes in very handy for suspension/chassis work. Yes, it is cheaper to rent and in the past 14 years I only used the 7249 once, but it's good to have if you work on cars.

The Right Tool for the Job!
Gone are the days of using fence pipe, scrap tube and odd ball sockets. The older I get the more I appreciate owning the correct tool for the job. The amount of time I've saved and frustration I've avoided by using this tool when replacing ball-joints is well worth the purchase price. Instead of dreading ball-joint press work I simply grab my OTC press tool and the necessary adapters and make quick work of it.

Worked as expected
I purchased this item to do the ball joints on a 2005 F-150. Worked like a charm and made the job much easier. I already have the C-press that it is used with so I only purchased these particular adapters for working on the ford.

used for 2015 F250 4WD
rented ball joint press from OReillys auto parts and used these. if you can hammer out the lower ball joints do it, i could only get one out. this kit has everything to remove the upper, and install both ball joints on a 2015 F250 4wd

Does what they’re made for
Worked great for installing new upper and lower ball joints on a Dana 50 twin I beam axle. Comes with simple instructions on how to orient the cups for proper usage.
