I wish I would have found this thing years ago. I'm in the military and travel a lot for my job...not always staying in places that provide soap. The traditional soap dishes you find in stores were always a source of annoyance for me. The two piece slide apart dishes were a pain to open with wet, dirty or soapy hands. I absolutely hated those! The ones with a hinge were slightly better, but they would not allow the soap to dry out and would usually leak water and soap slime into my shaving kit. This thing is solidly built and allows the soap to dry out and doesn't leak liquid into your bag. The latch is solid and keeps the case closed. It fits a normal bar of soap just fine. Because of it's unique design it is slightly larger than a standard soap case. If you think you need this....you probably do. Just buy it .

Ever spend 3 hours on Amazon looking for a product that any one else would have only spent 1 minute looking for? That's what I did for this product and I'm super happy I did. As long as there isn't a puddle of water in it when you close the lid (I flick off the excess water in the holder and on the soap bar) then it really won't leak. I don't have time to super dry my soap as I'm in hostels when I travel, this thing does the trick.I also watched in horror as it fell from over 6ft to the tile floor, certain it was going to break... and it was fine. The two halves came apart at the hinge and simply snapped back together.

Works very close to what it is described. Soap lasts much longer and it is perfect for travel or to just have it at home. Very great, worth of money spent

Nifty design. There is always a small amount of water left over in the soap case after a shower. The soap gets mushy for the next shower. In my old case I drilled holes that allowed the moisture to escape. This worked well but it would leak of you turned it over. This one doesn’t leak and still lets the case vent.Made of a sturdy plastic. Fit my bar of dial soap just fine but there wasn’t much room to spare so if you are a “big soap” person you’ll have to cut it to fit.

I like the product generally, but the snap-close latch does not hold up. I tried to be careful with it but due to the design it's prone to being bent too far and snapping. It actually does everything it says it does!I spent the last 6 months traveling along the pacific ocean coast. Every time I went to shower again, the soap was dry and not stuck to the case or anything.Would recommend. my only complaint:Soap will accumulate and there are a lot of hard edges, etc that will collect soap, so it's not the absolute easiest to clean. Of course it's just soap, so no big deal right? :) My current method to clean that works well: I just rinse it in the shower after every 3-5 showers, and it seems to work fine.

Bought this to use in my gym bag - this is perfect. It is actually is very well built with sturdy plastic and some slick engineering. It was a bit tricky to open the first time but once you get the hang of it, no problem. Have had no issues with leaking and my bar soap doesn't get all mushy thanks to the air flow this capsule allows. Glad I found this

Terrible design for opening the case. Nearly impossible to unlatch it with dry hands, let alone wet ones. They even included a flyer for a “quick start” website (and an unhelpful one at that.) I was sure there had to be some trick to getting it open - spoiler alert - there is not. Please, if you need a website to explain how to open a travel soap case, there is something very wrong with the product.
