I had a small spot that needed something and this shelf works great. I put a couple of plants on it and it seems sturdy enough. Super easy to put together.

It was easy to assemble, it looksreally nice and it's sturdy.

These are nice, simple, bookcases that are incredibly easy to assemble and an excellent bargain. I'm withholding one star for two reasons: first, the item is "not as described" because the poles are the 22mm ones and not the 29mm ones. That might not seem like a big deal but, and I realize this is a special situation, I chose this to integrate with another convenience concept item that used the 29mm poles. Although that's not in the 'job description," if you know what I mean, we should be able to depend on the item description. The 22mm poles are not quite as stable so this bookcase is a tiny bit wobblier . .. though still sturdy. The other issue is that it's not boxed inside another box so that if it takes any sort of beating by UPS, as mine did, it's not going to entirely protect the item. The wood pieces in ours were fine but two of the poles had tiny bend marks on them which is annoying. The box was torn on one end and the interior styrofoam was broken; we're lucky the packet of parts didn't fall out along the way.

This is one of five different units I have bought from this company in recent weeks - each time I get one, I like it so much I get another. Again, I can't say enough about ease of assembly, good looks, and solid construction. Really a gem in the rough and an excellent value - don't let the very low price dissuade you. I also feel that how a company handles issues/problems says a lot about them, as much as the product itself. My package was missing a metal pole - this unit required fourteen and there were thirteen in the box. The insert in the package says to call or email Convenience Concepts directly for issues with parts, etc., so I emailed them. Got a very quick reply, and in about a week I had a very well-wrapped metal pole in my mailbox that now allows me to assemble this unit completely. Very happy with the product and how the company handled the issue.

This unit was incredibly easy to assemble, so much so that I was a little disappointed I couldn't have a little more fun putting it together! The wood is particle board with laminate strips but it's high quality and looks and feels good. Overall it's weightier and sturdier than I'd expect from a $30 shelf.There's another review complaining that the smaller top two shelves were too small to bridge the poles that hold them up. Wait! You didn't get a defective product! The holes on the long shelves aren't symmetrical, the middle holes are closer to one end than the other. You have to put the poles on the side with the closer holes and then the top shelves fit just right.The laminate strips around the edges of the shelves have a seam on one of the front/back-facing sides. I recommend taking care to put align the seams with the side you expect to face the wall. The seam isn't visible in most lighting conditions but it stands out if you shine a light straight at it because the wood grain doesn't line up.

This was so easy to assemble, no tools required and very little reading just follow the diagrams.The shelves are just over 1/2” thick which makes them sturdyAfter assembling it, started from the bottom and twisted the support legs just to tighten a bit, adds to the sturdiness of this unit.Well worth he money and it looks great.I would highly recommend this item. It is much more attractive then regular book case shelving, it makes the room look bigger because it is not one large piece of furniture, you can see the wall through the shelves.If I had more room I would order another one.Hope this review is helpful.

Bought for grandson to put his Lego displays on, it was easy to put together and seems real durable.

These are very nice looking and don’t feel cheap at all. Very easy to build as well. We are using them as Lego stands for our kid’s collections.

Great shape not broken simple to put together

The stand is medium size and looks nice. I can't say it's super solid or sturdy, but it somewhat is. Overall, it doesn't feel flimsy or shaky. I was lucky to receive all the pieces and parts, and assembly took about 30 min, including time I spent on wiping the parts. I believe I received a used item, the bars were wrapped in ripped pieces of plastic, and the tips were covered in large amount of hair. One of the shelves was covered in hair in half. After opening the package it's hard to place everything back, and the box is quite heavy, so I didn't bother returning it. If the item was small and light, it would have been mailed back immediately. Bottom line: I recommend this item if you are lucky enough to get a brand new one.

Gave one star because i was tricked! . They did not offer any measurements for this product and i was looking at the pictures and judging the size turns out to be a lil tiny shelf .. oh well . The quality is good tho .i give it that
