The net weight is 1 ounce on it but it should last a while if you are a moderate shooter.

can you use this for crossbows?

Yes, I use it for my 80 Lb crossbow string and for my 50 LB classic bow string.

Can I apply this to the serving string?

I was told not to wax the serving string. I wax everything else with it.

Can this be used for any bow string ?

I'm not sure. My son has a Hoyt Ruckus compound bow.
