While walking my little dog this week, the leash I was using broke and the ribbon separated from the plastic housing. Fortunately, my little dog was busy sniffing a tree and never noticed that she had total freedom! When I returned home, I went on Amazon to find a replacement leash. There were so many leashes to choose from and many good prices since it was Cyber Monday. I finally settled on this leash, which wasn't the least expensive, but had many good reviews. I am now adding my positive review to the list. The leash feels very sturdy in my hand. It has a little bit of weight to it but not so much as to be uncomfortable on a long walk. The ribbon comes out smoothly and so far I haven't had any trouble with it tangling. The lock works easily and holds well. It is very simple to unlock or to pause my little dog while walking. The ribbon is wide enough that I can grab it if necessary without worrying about burning or cutting my hand. This is a much better quality leash than the one I had purchased previously and I'm very happy with it. The pink color is vivid and contrast well with the black on the handle.

Love the leash for my little girl shih tzu. It’s large, but easy to hold on to and is long enough for my medical scooter to give her plenty of room to run. Retracts great for when she jumps on to ride. The leash itself is ribbon like, and does twist, but not a problem for the small dog.

This retractable dog leash works pretty well. I am only giving it 4 stars because sometimes the leash locks and will not retract. I do love it because it is not a cord, but has a ribbon and won't cut you if it gets wrapped around you legs.

This retractable leash is great because no matter how many times the dog twists around it always goes back in straight. It's long enough that the dog can walk ahead enough and you can keep your pace up or if the dog has to stop you can keep going and it can catch up with you. It's a good value for the money and it looks good. It's easy to use in the lock button is pretty simple.

Good sturdy handle. It feels substantial in my hand. I was iffy about the flat ribbon string, wondering if it would bind up, but it has worked very well, with no issues at all.

This is a great leash. Very easy to use and the length is very good. The only slight negative is it is a little heavy. Otherwise great leash.

This leash started off really well. However the lock button is now broke and hard to retract. We will use it but might need to replace. The grip is good and easy to hold.

Love this. Used it yesterday for the first time & I’m very impressed. The lock is easy to use & extremely strong. Being in a wheelchair I worry my furbaby will get tangled in the lead/wheels but this was perfect. I was able to extend the lead to the perfect length to ensure she had enough length to walk alongside my chair or even in front a bit without worrying about her pulling or running in front of the wheels.
