Best Decaf Tea I’ve Found
I am a tea snob since I was raised by two Irish parents who really know their tea. I like to drink decaf most of the time but the American decaf tea is very weak and not great tea flavor. I have used Typhoo regular tea bags in the past when I am out of my loose tea from Sri Lanka and love the robust tea flavor. I must say this decaf version is every bit as good as the caffeinated Typhoo, which is very rare to find a decaf as good as the original. This is the only decaf tea I will drink now . Way better than Barry’s or PG Tips decaf.

Delicious!
I think this is the best decaf tea I've ever had! The flavor is exceptional, there is absolutely no bitterness, and one tea bag is enough for two cups. Best of all, it is perfect both hot and over ice. I'll definitely be buying this again.

Love this delicious tea
Most delicious tea...not harsh like the usual teas available in the grocery store. Who need coffee?

I Lived In England, And This Is True British Tea
I purchased this item on my own with no compensation for this review. Please click on Helpful at the bottom of this review if what I wrote is useful to you. I lived in England as a teenager, and we started every morning with Typhoo Tea, with cream directly from our Guernsey milk, and large granulated Demerara sugar. After living with Typhoo, every other tea tastes like water. I call Typhoo the 10W-40 of teas. And that's meant as a compliment. About 20 years ago I tried the decaf version and found there was no compromise in taste and flavor. So this has been my go-to extension of the Typhoo brand since then. Here's how I make tea the British way. Full disclosure: This uses bags to simulate the same taste. In Britain, I used loose leaves. But the bags taste just the same and it's way less messy. Put two bags in a coffee mug and fill it with refrigerated water, leaving room for much more milk or cream than you are used to. Microwave for two minutes, and steep for one. Squeeze out all the tea and discard the bags. Add milk or ideally light cream until it turns to a light golden color, and two teaspoons of demerara sugar or sugar-in-the-raw. (The attached photo I took shows two demerara sugar cubes.) Your tea drinking will never be the same. Highly recommend.

THE BEST BLACK DECAF!
I've tried every brand of decaf black tea I can find and I always return to Typhoo! The strongest and best taste I've tested yet.

Typhoo British Tea, with string and tags DIDN"T have strings or tags : 4 stars
Typhoo is an authentic blue-collar English tea blend from Birmingham. It brews dark and strong and powers through hard water. It is good neat, or with cream and sugar. This is not a subtle blend of black tea and is great as the first cup of char in the morning, or for a tea boost in the late afternoon. The tea bags I received did not have the string and tags advertised. Worse still if the circular bags were not removed within a short period of brewing time they would leak tea leaves. Fortunately, the Typhoo blend brews out quickly and removing the bags after a guesstimated minute still results in a strong cuppa. 4 Stars out of 5.

Excellent decaf black tea
Most decaf teas are tasteless not thins one. Full body flavor. I am used to strong coffee and tea. Recently diagnosed with high blood pressure I was afraid that I would have to give up my teas and coffees. Certainly not so with this tea. One would never know that it is decaf. If you are looking for a full body black tea this is your ticket.

We love this tea
Finding a good, bold decaf tea was hard to find until we stumbled onto Typhoo while staying at a resort in Scotland decades ago. For years we would ask friends to pick up a box when traveling in England. Now it's readily available in America at a price that is significantly better than many other decaf teas. The last cup tastes as well as the first with no bitterness or flatness that is prevalent in competitors. As with most decaf teas and coffees, we expect that there is some residual caffeine that my wife seems to notice. There isn't much, though, as you won't get much of a morning lift apart from enjoying a satisfying cup of tea.
