My knive roll of 18 years finally gave up on me, was able to find exact same one. I decided I wanted to protect it as long as possible, so I bought these to cover my blades and prevent ripping the leather. These are great, well constructed, sturdy, and a sleek design. Love the random sizes and slim size of a couple of them. Will definitely order again for my travel knife set. 4 Stars all around.

Well made , protect the blade well light weight and good safety function also

I knew what I was getting and I am pleased with this purchase. That said, speaking on behalf of my significant other, the covers can slide up and down and leave portions of the knife exposed. In other words, they're great for a drawer, but are not nearly as good as a sheath for transporting where the slip-on cover could slide up and expose part of the lower blade. They don't really lock in place. I did get these for travel figuring out this was easier for my cabin-condo-weekend-cottage kitchen knife set than getting or making custom sheaths for my weird knives or buying new and unknown knives that came with new and unknown plastic sheaths. To help apply pressure to the cover, I tend to wrap a strong rubber band around the cover help put pressure against it pulling toward the spine of the blade to help reduce movement. With that add-on, it works pretty well. The assorted sizes worked well for me, though I did score a few and cut them down to fit specific knives better. I would have liked more of the middle sized covers as I tend to have a lot of 5" to 7" santoku and chef's knives that I like to use. Finally, these are tough and well made. The inside is soft felt-like material. My knives seem none the duller from having them on. A very worthy purchase!

We were having the hardest time finding quality sheaths for our older Cutco knives. When my husband and I started our lives together, we spent some of our homecoming money to buy a nice set of Cutco knives from a family member. Nearly two decades later, the wood block they came with deteriorated, and we were left looking for something to protect them from dog hair and dust on our new magnetic knife block. After spending over a week researching, I finally found some that were supposed to work, and they did. These fit perfectly! Unlike some of the others I found, they don't just fit. They have a nice felt lining inside, making it a bit snug but protecting the sharpness of the blade while also keeping it safe. I personally liked the simplistic design, allowing it to blend in with our knife block. I haven't really had to clean them yet, but they seem like they will be fairly easy, making them an ideal fit for our household.

Recently acquired a Japanese chef's knife and needed a way to protect the edge. This Knife edge guard perfectly fit my 1-3/4" x 8" Chef's knife and the long sleeve fit my 1-1/4" x 10" carving knife perfectly as well. The plastic outer shell is a beautiful carbon fiber looking finish but is simply a nice textured surface molded into the surface to aid grip. The clamshell design firmly grips the knife blade. One side of the clamshell is shorter to aid in inserting the blade "heel" first. Then pivoting the knife blade into the sleeve. The interior is lined with a soft felt like material which would prevent scratching the blade. I would be careful to not get this wet as it may be difficult to dry exposing the blade to long term moisture and possible rust especially if your knife is higher carbon steel. Good value and practical!

These knife covers arrived very quickly to my relief. They are very well-made and sturdy. They fit all my knives perfectly. I have no difficulty removing or re-inserting the knives. It is very smooth inside with a nice soft material which will protect my knives. I am very impressed with this product. Very well-made and at an affordable price.
