This is a really cool product, I didn't even wet the hair like the directions say and it worked great. I have dark blonde hair also most brown, but the color was easy to see. I did my niece's hair yesterday for Halloween and it turned out even better . She has light blond. Just take a small section of hair and comb the chalk through it. The only thing I noticed was my ends did get a little tangled from the chalk, but I need a hair cut, so that could be why. Otherwise easy to use and washed right out. Make sure you clean your shower good when you get out or you will be scrubbing it later.

This stuff definitely doesn’t look anything like the picture at all. However, my daughter did enjoy playing with and it went on her hair pretty easy just not dark. She has light brown hair. It did made her hair very oily which I didn’t like. The good news is it washes right out in the shower. Unfortunately, I will not buy particular product again.

I bought this purely out of boredom, but it was fun! I have dyed blonde hair, so I think that's key when having the color actually show up. When you have the product on it feels a lot as if you've doused your hair in hair spray so it's pretty difficult to comb and can cause you to damage your hair a bit when brushing if you have long hair like me. I slept on a white pillow with the dye and nothing came off which was great. The next day it definitely need a a touch up, but overall I say if you just want to have fun and check out different colors on light hair, this is great for that. I think I just might dye my hair pink because of this whole experience.

After carefully reading the instructions, I applied the hair chalk to my daughter's hair. The comb kept pulling out her hair. We had a HUGE pile of hair to throw away when all was said and done. The chalk did color the hair, but my daughter's hair was just blue and crunchy. Like when you spray a whole can of Aquanet on your hair. Later we washed out my daughter's hair and it took about 3 washes to get the color completely out of her hair. We will not be using this product ever again. I would return it if I could.

My 3 girls have been begging to put streaks of color in their hair. They found these, so we decided to give them a try. One of the girls and I have light hair, and the color definitely showed up great. Our brown haired girl first tried dark blue (didn’t show up) then switched to the light blue, which worked somewhat better. Our redhead tried the green, which barely showed up. But they had fun, and can change their color tomorrow, so for $12, totally worth it!

Barely noticeable change to my daughters hair. We spent nearly 30 minutes combing this into her hair and got almost no color transference. I would have given it one star but my daughter was still happy that she received all that attention and she imagined that her hair looked close to the picture on the box. The purple color worked somewhat while the rest of the combs simply chunked and broke off onto the floor.It was relatively easy to clean out of my daughters hair, but harder to clean the chunks off of the floor. Watch your carpet! we did it outside.

I work at a bank and am unable to color my hair unnaturally so I purchased these for single day color. For $8 I wasn’t expecting much but was absolutely blown away by the results I got. I have salon bleached hair and the colors were surprisingly vibrant. I did have some trouble with the caps on the combs falling off but other than that I think it’s a very good product for the price. Would definitely purchase again.

Make sure your hair is wet or it won't work. I have medium brown hair. The blue pink yellow and green showed up great.. Colors are bright. My only complaint is the top piece that holds the chalk in the combs kept coming off and the chalk would fall out. 3 have broken so far from dropping.

My nieces had so much fun at Christmas even if we weren't together physically. A second after they opened their gift, we saw them via FaceTime put many colors in their hair and it looked good. The younger is 6.5 and the older 9.5 and they had no problem understanding what to do.I was scared that the colors wouldn't show that much because they have dark blond hair, but they showed as you can see.I bought two kits, so honestly, I didn't see which one opened which kit... but it still gives you a good idea.And I thought the little brushes from this kit seemed a lot sturdier (and there was more product) than the other ones I also got.Also, I don't know how difficult or easy it was to get it out, I'm guessing a shampoo and a conditionner must be all it takes, but I have no idea.

Very hard to apply any visible color to the hair, even after following the recommended wetting the hair. Still fun for the kids to play with, but was hoping for more.

Die Haarkreide malt nicht ansatzweise so kräftig wie auf den Bildern beschrieben. Die Kinder hatten trotzdem ihren Spaß damit. Tut was sie soll nur eben nicht so kräftig wie gedacht.
