Rothco 9'' Gi Type Combat Boot

These boots are a really good buy. Great leather and stitching. Super comfortable. I remember the old military jump boots painful break in. The bottom of the boot is the weak point. I ride street bikes and these are very comfortable shifting and breaking. They have a dress shoe type of bottom. For the money you won't be disappointed

Don’t wear White Sox / the dye will come off from inside and ruin your socks. Hard on your feet for long hours. Boots are for looks not comfort

These boots arrived with a few noticeable defects in the leather, although I'm unsure if they're damaged from shipping or if they were sent that way. The laces were about 10" too short once I laced them all the way up. Other than that, these boots do run a full size larger than advertised. Excellent value though!

This is the second pair of boots I've owned of this style, and I forgot how cheap they were. My old pair of steel toes have worn out, so I wanted a cheap leather boot to transplant the toe caps in.There's really not many great things about this boot apart from its price and it actually is pretty waterproof. It takes a hell of a long time to break in, the leather/constructed is cheap, there was a staple sticking out of the sole into my foot (it was easily removed, but still, wtf?), and I KNOW the insoles are gonna fall apart by spring. I would have also liked to have known that they were made in ChinaFinally, in an unexpected flaw, after the first time wearing them out the laces tore up the tongue and stripped the finish on the leather. That's likely something you can't fix. Considered sending them back over this.I'm not saying they're not decent once they brake in and take a few beatings, but just be weary that your buying some of the cheapest leather boots out there, likely made in a sweatshop.

I've had these about a year now and they STILL feel stiff and hurt my feet. they look good, they just feel the opposite. and lets not start talking the fight to take them off....

My husband is a Viet Nam Vet and is in a 4th of July parade yearly and had an authentic military uniform and wanted boots like he wore back in 1966 while in the Army. These are perfect and he was so happy to be able to get them.

good finish on the leather. yes it is real leather and they hold polish well.

The quality is very good. The fit was loose for my foot. The side to side and length were good but there was just a lot of room above the main part of my foot. It actually didn’t create any problems like blisters or anything. They worked great for my Halloween costume.

Beautiful boots!!! Wear them hunting biking n feel great after they break in a bit. Love them.
