SABIAN 18" AAX X-Plosion Fast Crash

I now have a 14, 16, 17, and 18" X-Plosion crash. Pricey but worth every penny. They look amazing and sound even better.

Okay, here's my comment! Wow, this little cymbal seriously surprised me. It's tiny, which is perfect for my small kit, but the sound is HUGE. I was expecting something thin and weak, but it has a really nice, full tone. Definitely recommend checking this one out if you're short on space!

Bought these for my husband, he loves them and loves how shiny and new they look. He said they sound great.

I bought this about 7 years ago, and it finally started to crack. Unfortunately, after it started to crack, it quickly got worse and now I'm in the market for a new cymbal. Regardless, it was my most used cymbal and I play pretty hard, so that speaks to its incredible durability! And it was my most used cymbal because it easily sounded the best out of my other (albeit slightly cheaper) cymbals. Phenomenal product, I'll be ordering another to replace my broken one!

Although ive been playing drums for over 8 years i only recently began to seriously invest in my kit. I have zildjian zbt hats, ride, and splash which are mid-level quality cymbals so at first I was reluctant to spend over $100 on a single 16" crash. But i did my research and heard nothing but great things about the AAXplosion series so I bought it and WOW. Worth every penny. Not only does this cymbal have a brilliant finish but it sounds awesome and it is LOUD. If you are serious about your drumming I would seriously suggest overlooking inferior crashes and kicking in the extra cash for this excellent sabian crash its a little expensive but if taken care of properly, these things are an investment which you can later resell for not far from what you paid for it.

I have several different cymbals from 3 different brand lines. This cymbal quickly became one of my favorites. It has a very bright sound with quick decay, which is necessary for the smaller area where we play. If you're looking for a long, dark sustain, this is NOT the cymbal for you. However, if you want a distinct, crisp, bright flash sound with a fast decay, then this is an excellent choice. If you're playing in a large or open area, the best use for this cymbal is as an accent, as it is a step above a splash. But it is more suitable as an economical easy hit cymbal when playing in a smaller auditorium setting.

I only use SABIAN and Zildjian cymbals as BOTH use the secret B20 alloy casting process to give their cymbals that sound we love and expect. You can't go wrong adding SABIAN to your kit!
