The opening is amazing on this one. Very aromatic and fresh. I like the atomizer. It dusts you with a fine mist. The scent projects well for the first 2 hours or so on me and then begins to sit closer but I can still smell it on me after an 8-10 hour work day. You will definitely need to reapply every few hours if you want people to notice you but for the price you can’t beat this one IMO. It has a very unique scent but I like the mild spiciness this one offers! To me this is meant to be a hypermasculine barbershop scent but they do it right. It’s subtle enough where you could wear it to the office. I kept the tin it comes in. Reminds me of an antique cigar tin. Would make a great stocking stuffer. Very classy! I will repurchase!!

Delivery was great. As for the product, I'm not fond of the initial blast / top note, which has a bit of a chemical smell to me. However, the drydown is much better. For a $20-5 perfume, I think it's quite nice and definitely does not smell like a cheapo scent (at least after the first few minutes). However, I do have some substantially more upscale items in my collection and it can't really compete with those. So, if you're on a budget, this is a good choice. But if you can afford to go to the $80+ per 100ml / 3.3oz category, you will probably want to do that instead.

I read the negative reviews that say this is a knock off. I don’t know if it is or not. I do know that the initial spray and application of this cologne is horrid. I was worried at first. But after 30 minutes it dried and smells amazing. Yes, it smells like cigars. My 10 year old says it smells “Turkish” which is his way of saying scented like a Turkish or Indian restaurant (incense). It has a sweet musk to it, but definitely smells like a cigar to me. Big fan. I’m an hour into it and it’s still very strong. Don’t know if it’ll last all day, but I haven’t had a cologne that lasts all day. It’s a bit bulky, so I won’t be carrying it for reapplication. That’s my only complaint.

Absolutely delightful fragrance from France for a crazy low price. I've loved this stuff since I got a bottle as a gift in the 90's. So pleased I was able to find it on here! Rugged and masculine scent that genuinely smells similar to a well stocked walk in humidor. How can you beat that?

Cigar has been my go to scent since around 2004. I remember the first time i saw that crazy bottle and thought it was so tacky, then i smelled it and was hooked. Sadly over the years i have noticed some bottles of cigar smell different than others and im not talking about the spin off's like Cigar Black or Cuba or any of the other color variations, but the original flagship Cigar by Remy Latour. i think the OG formula is 100% gone now. This new formula isn't bad but it does not smell at all like the scent i fell for which to me was this manly deep scent that was a mix of Leather, tobacco flower, rum, vanilla and maybe even a touch of cardamom. I will probably keep looking around for vintage stock somewhere and stock up if i can find it. If you have never tried this cologne before i would say go for it, it still smells good, but if you are looking for the original formula i don't think amazon is getting any of the old stock.
