Q: Has anyone tried this on plastic (car dash)? Did it work?

Don't use these. They are terrible and hold no weight

Q: WAnt to use for bracket for longboard/skateboard. What is weight max they will hold?

I don't believe these will work for your longboard / skateboard. These are not permanent and not for heavy-duty use. We use them to put up paper posters (not in frames) on the wall, as they do not damage our walls when removing.

Q: Would this work to hang vinyl record jackets and album covers on a wall or do I need something stronger?

I tried hanging posters on semi-gloss painted walls and it didn't work out.. So stronger would be my suggestion
