PILOT G-Tec-C Gel Ink Rolling Ball Pens, Ultra Fine Point (0.4mm), Black Ink, 12-Pack (35491)

This is my go-to pen, but they do sometimes require the old-time thermometer flick of the wrist when the tip get dry/ink settles.

I bought this pen as it was recommended for use with watercolor for the reason that it draws well on wet surfaces. It really performs well and I love how fine the line is. Fair warning though, it will lift if you apply further washes after using it.

My wife uses these for medical writing at the hospital and she swears by them... Apparently her co-workers love them too

One of the best pens.. very fine

I first bought these pens in Portugal in 2022; believe it or not, Europe has a wider selection of products in this area the one can find in the US; this includes both color and tip diameter. I use these pens a lot when writing and editing. I have gone through eight or nine of these in the past year, so i am very familiar with their strengths and weaknesses. The strengths are great ink flow, even, smooth, and not at all messy, and the variety of colors (found in the 12-pack) helps me keep track of my layered approach to editing. For my purposes the orange and red are the best colors (I would love to be able to buy a 12-pack of orange pens at .3 or .25; but, alas, you do not feature such a product--this is a weakness). All of your 12 packs are 'black, blue, red' and 'black, blue, red.' Boring!! May I suggest that you offer a larger color selection in the 12-pack size? Making sure, of course, to include the bright orange.

All of these work well, none arrived nearly dry. Beautiful colors, crisp lines.
