A bit expensive and a bit tricky to set up precisely (needs to be ahead of the saw blade so you don't trap stock between the saw fence and this unit). I set it up using a straight edge along the blade, with a gage block. Takes a few minutes and a test cut or two to make sure it is correct, then the rest of the cuts are rock solid precise. Simply move the fence and stock after each cut, to the jig and you're set to go.For me, I would definitely purchase again.

Easy and quick to use

This is a great idea, but the bearing assembly is a little flexable so for precise work, it may not be what you want. I feel that if they made the bearing holder out of aluminum, it would be more useful for accurate work. I was only making face-tape with it, so dead-accurate cuts were not necessary. When I would bump the board against the bearing, I noticed that the adjustable holder would flex a little. This can cause the face tape to have different thicknesses, depending on how much pressure I put on the bearing. As long as the thickness wasn't critical, it worked great.

If the description of this item would have told me that I needed three other pieces, at a cost of another $43.20, to make it function as a Thin Stock Rip Guide I would not have purchased it and therefore not found it necessary to return it.
