One a Scale of One to T-Rex

Arrived quickly. Made a great gift. Kids love the game.

I got this for my husband who is a board game fan. There is a 2-player option, so we decided to test it out before playing with friends. It was a little confusing at first, but once the instructions clicked it was a lot of fun. Our dog didn't feel the same way, since there was a lot of jumping around and yelling out in our first play-through! We then tried it with a group of friends. Same deal, the start-up was a little slow but once everyone got the gist of the rules, it was a great game. A nice twist to charades!

We bought this game as a gift for an adult, knowing she would probably open it to play with the all-ages crowd assembled over the holidays. Although all ages seemed equally able to learn the rules, the 70-year-old man in the room abstained from playing (while his 72-year-old wife joined in), the 6-year-old didn’t care what he was doing as long as someone tried to “match” with him, and the 34-year-old man in the 7-person bunch turned out to be the least reliable player. All 6 other players thought he was playing a level 1 crab when he APPARENTLY thought he was giving us solid level-4 crab work! Hilarious, quick play. Highly recommend for mixed company and any age that can read and pretend.

Our 6 year old loved it. The game was fun to play in a group of 3 or larger. We used it to practice the concept of situational awareness for an appropriate/acceptable level of response to life challenges. Something along the lines of: level 1-3 = is appropriate if your socks feel bunched up on your feet, level T-rex= a bit much given the situation. Getting stung by a bee or falling off your bike may warrant a T-rex level response.

As far as the product goes, the cards and little cardboard pieces are good quality overall. This game feels like one that should get everyone up and moving around, laughing and having a good time, but realistically it falls short of that expectation. Some players may be really into the game, but if others aren't then it can really mess up the gameplay for others. Only recommend if you have a large group that is not afraid of getting active and being bold

So glad I got this before the thanksgiving holiday. All of us had such a blast playing together, and played for hours. The game is rather straightforward, directions were clear, and the cards were easy to follow. Really, anyone and everyone can play, and makes for a memorable experience, especially when getting together this time of the year with friends and family. Highly recommend!!!

This game is hilarious. I bought it for my 9 year old and he LOVES it. My husband wants to take it to game night at work as well, so I guess you could say it’s fun for all ages. This is a fairly loud game as well.

It is very interesting game for all the ages. It is fun to see how people react differently to same intensity of actions.

We played this game on a family vacation and we never laughed so hard in our lives. Like falling on the floor in tears and snorting laughter. Our 9 year old grandson loved it too although parts of it were over his head a little bit. He had fun laughing at his parents and grandparents acting so silly. If you enjoy making a fool of yourself, laughing at your family and friends you will love it. I’d recommend it for teens and up.
