This Stuff is THE Best!!
I am using the AD3 Reflective Foam as a heat barrier on all of our RV windows. It works great alone—we’ve used it in the past, but I’m backing it this time with a blackout drape cut to size so it looks nice. Simply affixing the Reflective Foam to the drape with heavy duty iron-on adhesive around the edges and middle. (If you try this method be careful with the heat of your iron. The AD3 can take the heat, but you only need enough to bond the adhesive.) The Reflective Foam is so easy to cut too. What a huge difference in the heat of the day!! This is a great product!!!

Used for Water Heater insulation
We wrapped our water heater with this insulation and put 2 bungee straps around it. It was just the right height and the width wrapped around the heater 1 1/2 times. Perfect fit with no trimming involved. Insulating your water heater helps with the electric bill. This works great. We had it wrapped in an old piece of insulation with duct tape. This looks 100% better. We highly recommend this product. Its easy to work with and an inexpensive fix.

Easy to install and did lower my water heating bill.
This works. I wrapped it around my old water heater a few times, and used good ol duct tape to hold it in place. The roll does not come with anything to secure it. Anyway, after a full month of use, my electric bill showed water heating costs down. So, for the money, it was worth it. Note: I live in the southwest, and the temperatures only got in the low 30s at night, so for those of you in colder climes, it might not be as effective.

Reflects sun well
It was thinner than I had envisioned but does seem to reflect the sun well. I am using it on a window facing the afternoon sun and it reflects the sun/heat off my older windows well. I was told not to use film as it will make the window glass weak in our Florida sun so I tried this as an option and it is working out well. The only thing I had a problem with, was figuring out how to attach it .

Got heat? Get this!
I live in an older 1200 sq ft house in Texas with a living room that faces west. There is a 6' by 5' single pane glass picture window that even with curtains lets in a LOT of heat. The house thermostat is located in this room. I put this insulation over the inside of that window in a desperate attempt to reduce the heat and resulting electricity usage. I measure my electricity usage daily and this insulation has reduced my usage by 20%. It's only 3mm thick so I really wasn't expecting a lot from it. Was I surprised! It's incredibly easy to cut and just about any type of tape will stick to it. I used packaging tape to secure it to the window frame and it's holding fine. The only issue is that it does block all the sunlight so the room is dark. I have 2 floor lamps with LED bulbs so that's not really a problem. My next project with this insulation is to cover the inside panels of my west facing garage door. It gets over 100 degrees in the afternoon. Can't wait to see what it does for that area, which is also shares a wall with the aforementioned living room. I highly recommend this product!

Used for my outdoor cats crates.
Just received yesterday, and I immediately placed it inside my outdoor cats crates in which they don't belong to me, but I've been trying to keep them warm since my indoor/outdoor cat will not let them in this house. One cat will not go in the enclosed crate that I first set up but she finally went into the one by the lamp so I needed to make it really warm for her. I used the full roll between the two crates, so between it and their warming center I set up, I'm hoping I've finally found the complete solution for keeping them warm. I bought a pet heating pad, a chicken brooder lamp then placed a heating lamp bulb inside it to make a warming center for them. Even with those two items running nearly twenty four hours a day for a month it didn't spike my electric bill which is impressive. Here's to keeping these babies warm for when the temps drop.

Description is questionable
The description of this product seemed to indicate it had a fire rating and was fire resistant. The first thing I did after receiving the item was use a small butane lighter to test a corner. Within seconds the material melted! I am a college educated senior citizen and want to clarify my opinion. The description of the product gives the impression it could at least resist a small flame. To be fair I must say I do not know about fire ratings of materials. All I really want is to express to future customers is the fact the item will not address their needs if a flame is a possibility. The product may be wonderful if used in a window to reflect sunlight or as a window shades in their car. I wish the seller would include the information above in their listing. Most assuredly they do not want their customers to be harmed in the use of this product. The fix is really pretty easy: State along with their fire ratings this item cannot be used around any type of open flame.

Cheap and easy way to solve an insulation issue
My laundry room shares a wall with an uninsulated garage, which make it pretty frigid in the winter. I covered that wall in the garage with this insulation and expect a big improvement this winter. I also wrapped my water conditioner tank, which was creating puddles of condensate in the basement - problem now solved. I'm sure I will find other uses for this product.
