Prepping for a 3 day juice cleanse.
My lady wanted me to agree to do a three day juice cleanse with her. She was ready to purchase bottled fresh juice blends from a company.I said I'd do it, but instead of paying a lot for the ready to drink juice, I suggested getting a slow juicer and squeeze the juice ourselves. After I spent several hours looking at units and reading reviews, I chose this model. The multiple modes it offers and the ability to make frozen deserts with it won me over.Just a few days after ordering, it was delivered. After reading the directions (yep, I believe in reading the directions) and washing the unit, was ready to give it a try. Assembly was no problem, line up the triangle on the strainer with the dot on the base. Then the point on the auger lines with both. Top assembly goes on and it's juicing time.Did carrot, apple, celery and spinach which gave a fine yield, the pulp was quite dry and the juice tasted great. Disassembly was easy and cleaning was no problem. I'd seen others complain about this part, but I'd owned centrifugal juicers and this was really no harder to clean.I've since done pineapple juice and then a blend of watermelon, lime and mint. Both juices were so tasty.Went out and bought 36 bottles to put the juice from $80 worth of organic fruits and veggies into for our cleanse. Good thing we're working from home!As soon as some mangoes ripen, I'll freeze them for the first run of frozen dessert. Can't wait.------UPDATE AFTER A BUSY DAY OF JUICING-First off, I now feel the price of the ready to drink juice blends for a juice cleanse to be reasonable. Sure it is twice the price of the fresh organic fruits and veggies, but no shopping, cleaning, cutting and dare I say...juicing.But for the sense of involvement, mastery and pride in doing it one's self, I now know the feeling. The photo shows off the six different fresh juices I made (times two for two people and times three for three days, so times six total).1- apple, cucumber, lemon, kale, spinach2- apple, beets, carrot, lemon, ginger3- pineapple, cucumber, mint4- lemon, filtered water, cayenne pepper, agave nectar5- celery, cucumber, lemon, kale, parsley6- cashews (soaked for 8-24 hours in water), water, agave nectar, vanilla beanOn average, took about an hour per juice, including the cleaning produce, cutting, juicing, extra filtering (with the volume of produce I was juicing, some pulp entering the output juice was inevitable- quick run through a wire mesh filter into a bowl did the trick), bottling and cleaning unit as needed. My thought on the many people who complain about the assembly and cleaning (too many parts??)- no, there are not too many parts, just the number of parts needed. In making all my juices, I probably took the unit apart, cleaned the auger and filter screen about 10-12 times. It was to be expected, as I ran about FORTY POUNDS OF PRODUCE through the unit.Getting the juice yield from all that produce HAD to clog the filter at times and cause pulp and such to collect on the auger. Still, a quick rinse in the sink of water I had the next batch of produce soaking in, was all that was needed along with a bit of scrubbing with the included brush.I also needed to tend to the pulp output port. To keep it moving, I used a chopstick to finesse it from the opening. As suggested in the juice cleanse article I read, I ran certain juicer pulp through the machine a second time to extract more juice.Right now, I'm scheduled to drink the third drink in ten minutes and am really looking forward to the last juice of the day, to enjoy my home juiced cashew milk. I have every hope this machine is durable and lasts a long time. For right now, I can say it did a heck of a job in producing a monster load of rainbow colored juices.

The bottom little spot hard to clean out pulp
The only down side is the celery pulp gets stuck you have to work with it to get it totally clean. Other then that works wonderful and the juice tastes great

Delicious and messy
Works Great! Makes delicious juice, but really is messy. It's worth the clean up but I don't use it too often. I plan to try sorbet next especially since the juice is sort of thick.

THE JUICER YOU HAVE BEEN LOOKING FOR!
The Vestaware slow juicer is my first juicer, it’s affordable and I have been stoked with it!I’ve definitely made my money back with the amount of juice I have made vs. buy from a store and it’s super fun to watch and easy to use, the pusher they give you will keep everything running through nicely and the juice flowing! Compared to some other juicers I have read about I would say this one is quiet for what it is and yields a significant amount of more juice 10 out of 10 don’t waist your tome looking any further

Very quiet but design falls short
Very nice looking juicer but falls short on design. Juiced carrots, apples, cucumbers, oranges, lemons, and ginger. Machine would get backlogged easy on apples and cucumbers and had to disassemble and clean out the pulp/fibre ejector port several times. This becomes a pain and messy. Juice was still very fibrous and lots of pulp. Ultimately, I ended up having to strain the captured juice manually in a strainer to get it clean and debris free. Finished product was great but the clogging and manual straining defeats the purpose of a juicer to begin with. Returning for a different design slow juicer.

Okay juicer
Great for keeping your counter clean and not make a big mess with juice spelling out. It Does take a little longer to clean compared to horizontal centrifugal juicers. Another big plus is the big opening which makes it a lot easier to push things into it.My biggest issue with it, was the amount of pulp in the juicer which is why I returned it. I cannot make a couple of glasses of juice without having to clean it. Of course the strainer came in handy but I still had to clean after every few minutes of juicing. Tried it without the strainer but the amount of pulp was a little too much for my liking. If you don't mind a little pulp or having to clean the strainer every few minutes then this is perfect for you.

Great Juicer
I had been looking at the Kuvings for a while but their price was to much for me. When I did my research I found Vestawear and bought the juicer. It has everything that Kuvings has as well. Ive had it for over a month and i have to say it does very well and I love it. Kuvings just came out with a smoothie strainer, I hope Vestawear comes out with it as well. It works well, somewhat easy to clean and I use it for juicing and sorbets. I love the sorbets.

Bloody mess
The media could not be loaded. Everytime I make beats and carrots juice which was the main reason why I got it... the machine makes a big mess. I am discouraged to use it. I watched the assembly video several times to make sure everything was in place.
