This is a great little toy for adults and children that provides bundles of fun. This comes with a screwdriver to open the controller / car to insert the batteries. Also comes with two spare screws.It is very easy to set up - turn the car on first then, turn on the controller. It will take a few moments to connect to the car.The signal is pretty strong - there was no delays even when things were placed in front of the controller or the controller was in another room. I was able to control the car around the garden whilst standing inside the house.It differs from normal RC cars since it can do "stunts". The car turns 360 degrees and doesn't get stuck unlike normal RC cars - hitting a wall will just make it turn itself over and keep on operating.The build is quite strong despite its plastic body. The rubber on the tyres provide a good grip on a variety of surfaces (carpet, laminate, concrete, grass).The controller takes 2x AAA batteries and the car itself takes 4x AAA batteries. Bit of a shame that there weren't any included given the amount of batteries required.

Got tbhis for my 9 year old last week. Controls are easy for her to navigate and she got the hang of it reall well. Car is really nible, fast, fun and (so far) appears durable. My 12 year old really wants one which I think is a good sign. Plays with it both inside and outside, it's small but ideal if you don't have tons of indoor space.It went through the first set of batteries pretty quickly, but they were playing with it for HOURS so perhaps to be expected. certainly worth getting this toy, good price and lots of smiles er pound!

The media could not be loaded. I bought the red one for my son for Christmas and he absolutely loves it!!The battery life is pretty good. I've only had to change the batteries in the car once so far, remote still has the original ones I put in. It does take a bit of practice to figure out how the controls work for the car to do all the stunts and tricks in the video, but my 4 year old picked up quite quickly and drives it better than I do.It is really durable as he has experimented by driving it off the coffee table and it still works. It is able to 'climb' up small obstacles with the correct control instructions.Only downside I have found is occasionally (very few occurrences), my son has brought it to me thinking the batteries had died and when I opened the car to change the batteries I found that the batteries had been knocked from their case a little bit, which resulted in the car not working. Easily fixed by pushing the batteries back into position.

I purchased this remote control car to gift to my 6 year old daughter for Christmas.However, I did what I will try and do when possible with these type of toys and test them out before putting away for Christmas, because I like to ensure that they do in fact work, and are suitable for the recipient.This remote control car is slightly smaller than I expected it to be, but that isn’t a negative really, it’s just something to beware of. It will be absolutely fine for my daughter though, especially as she is still so young.I love that it’s really easy to set up and use, I know from past experience that she’ll have no issues with it, judging by how easily we figured it out.I love the light up features on the car, it allows for a cool element that we haven’t had before with previous RC cars. It also makes it easier to see in the dark. The flashing lights are more effective the darker it gets in the room, or outside.It’s a sturdy car, we didn’t use it along dirt or anything (obviously being a gift and all) but we did bump it up the walls and cupboards in the kitchen to see how it would fare, and it was brilliant actually- turning and flipping at each bump, with no damage to the actual car at all, not even a scratch. It’s definitely well made, and made for its intended purpose.It is really effective when racing it around, and is a lot of fun. I actually think my husband will want one now (Lol!) he was having so much fun playing with it.I can’t wait until Christmas Day now.

The car is zippy and kept my nephew entertained but it's not that robust and was a lot smaller than I thought it would be.

I’ve bought this as a Christmas present for my nephew however I did have to get it out the box and have a little try of it before wrapping it up and handing it over... Wow! It’s so good! I only had batteries with a little life left in them when I tested it but it still worked and I was surprised at the speed/how fast it is. Had a great 15/20 minutes having a play around with it and was very impressed considering I didn’t have brand new batteries in it. I think that says a lot about it! It’s nice and small and the control pad is small too but feels lovely and comfortable in your hands. Does lots of tricks and it bumped into a few things in my flat without breaking so the durability is really good too! I’m excited to see what it’s like with new, full life batteries in it and I’m sure my nephew will be well impressed and this will be able to get him outside and away from his PlayStation for a while. Car was delivered speedily in time for my sons 7th Birthday. Great gift. He hasn't stopped using it since he had it over the last few weeks.Getting the car set up is very easy. Dropped the batteries in to the car and remote and away you go.We also purchased some rechargeable batteries to keep the costs down. The initial use was completed on normal batteries and he still got a decent few hours of use.It's fast and robust. Flips over and keeps going. The remote control is accurate to movements on the joystick.Overall for the money it's a great buy.
