This is quite literally my favorite black tea. I always get the one that says it’s an Earl Grey, but it’s the only one I’ve tried that doesn’t have overwhelming bergamot flavor. No essence of Fruit Loops in this one, just crisp, smooth black tea flavor. Even when you oversteep this into the sun it’s still not bad. It is sometimes very expensive, likely due to its import, so watch the price for a bit.

Do Ghazal is an Arabic phrase that means Two Deer. I am from Iran and it's so similar to Farsi too. And as for the tea, I'm NOT - not not not - a tea bag kinda girl. At least, I wasn't until I met Do Ghazal once when visiting my aunt and uncle. I am a big tea snob and usually stick to high-quality loose-leaf tea, and yet I was beyond impressed with the quality and aroma of this tea. This particular tea is a Pure Ceylon Earl Grey, as per the description of Do Ghazal itself, and it is delicious. Take care to use proper water for making your tea. I put down my tea making instructions in case it comes in handy: - Use filtered water to boil, ideally in a Zojirushi but you can also boil it on the stove. NEVER the microwave! Yikes!! - Use a clear glass that you would only use for Do Ghazal tea bags ideally. You need to see the color of the tea. - Put one tea bag in the glass. - Pour boiling water onto the glass over the tea bag. - Brew for 4 minutes if you like it medium or 6-7 if you like it strong. - Pour and enjoy! This tea is particularly great for digestion or waking up in the morning. Sometimes, I add one or two leaves of mint to go along with it.

This is very good Persian tea. You can make about 3 strong glasses of tea with one tea bag. The loose leaf version is also very good.

Our neighbor is from Iran and shared this tea with us. We liked it so much that we ordered some for us. And we shared with my elderly dad and he loves it as well. Good quality black tea with smooth flavor. This is a loose leaf tea so you will need a tea infuser.

I’ve been on a quest to try all different brands and price ranges of earl grey tea lately and this one is a delicious and affordable option. I had never heard of this brand before doing some internet deep dives, but I’m glad to have discovered it and will definitely repurchase. The affordability of this tea makes it a great everyday drinker, and I usually grab a bag of this for my first cup of tea in the morning. If you are looking to try something different, but just as affordable as Bigelow or Twinings, consider trying this!

The best I had so far

The flavor is smooth, robust, and incredibly satisfying. It has a natural, round sweetness to it, so I never feel the need to add sugar. It feels substantial, like a proper cup of tea meant to be sipped slowly. I drink it on its own in the afternoon as a small moment of calm. If you enjoy strong, flavorful black teas like a good Assam or Ceylon, but want something with more aromatic depth and zero astringency, this is a beautiful choice.
