I had sticky residue on my brushes from keeping brush dip on them for too long. I tried dish soap, hot,hot water, Murphy soap but nothing worked. This soap is so amazing that I love the perfect effect for oil, acrylics,watercolor and gouache too. And it treats your brushes and they feel smooth. It lasts a while. Cleaning is quick, fun, sudsy, and the product smells nice. Brush feels a bit softer after the cleaning procedure. While I've yet to test it on bristles crusty with ancient paint, I'm confident in its efficacy, if its performance is anything to go by. A lot of power, effectiveness, and plenty of brushes cleaned in an ounce of this stuff. Indispensable for painters.

If you paint with any kind of brushes, you know how nasty and stained your fibers can get. Just a little bit of this soap and a bit of water will obliterate stiff bristles and restore your brushes. I barely have to buy new brushes and get to keep favorites now, as this will extend their lifespan for nearly a year each.

This completely changes the efficacy of brush cleaning. Paint is clearly removed with gentle twisting of the brush x 3 followed by 1 additional application of soap left on brush to remove any residue.

It works! I had painting brushes that I had left aside due to having oil paint , paint was old and hardened. I used this product yesterday and it actually removed old paint. I was very hesitant about the oil paint, it was easy to use, it did not smell, it was soft and instructions were clear and effective. It worked great!
