Even better than before!
I bought a Scribbles that Matter journal last year and was very happy with the quality of it. However there were definitely a few areas where I felt it could be improved and saw from the other customer feedback that I wasn't the only one. Well, this year I bought another journal and they seem to have fixed every single thing that could have been improved upon!Yes, the journal still has the great, thick pages with minimal bleed-through, but now there are about 12 more of them which was my biggest problem with the previous journal I bought from them. There was just no way I could fit a whole year of bullet-journaling into just 201 pages. Now there are 213 and that is just enough to make a whole year fit. Plus, their Iconic version used to have even less pages than their plain cover journal but now they are the same - allowing us to have a real choice as to whether to go for the plain or scribbled cover as our year-long journal. The other improvements are:Smaller margins which give slightly more dots per page. The centre dot on each page is printed slightly differently to give a great indicator of the absolute centre to make it easier to make layouts. The dots are now slightly fainter making them blend into the background easier when you don't need them. There are dots for guidelines now on the Pen Test pages too, to make it easier to write in a straight line. The first page is now not gummed so lies flush to the front cover and flat when fully opened (as before it would stand straight up).All these improvements added to the original pros (comes with its own pen loop, nice thick pages, index pages, pen test pages, good choice of colours, numbered pages, nice thick sturdy PU fake-leather cover, etc) make this an even more attractive addition to the bullet journaling choices out there and in my opinion justifies the slightly dearer price tag.Having bought Lemones, and Leuchteurns in the past, this is now my journal of choice.(Customer service is also fantastic. I had a slight issue with my journal and had to contact Scribble that Matter about it. They went above and beyond to help me feel satisfied with my purchase and couldn't do enough for me).

Stunning color and thick paper
I have been looking around for my next bullet journal for several weeks looking for a better quality of paper than my Leuchtturm1917 as my main requirement. I have had my eye on STM journals for a while and finally bought mine last month. I am very pleased with the quality of the paper : no bleeding, no ghosting and the colors are looking so much prettier than on my Leuchtturm. The cover feels smooth to the touch, its color is absolutely stunning and the icons are the cutest. The first few pages contain some essentials for bullet journal : a space for your name, a key for 15 symbols & 8 colors and 3 pages for the index. At the end of the journal, you will find a pocket as well as a pen test page and another dedicated to mindfulness. I already have more STM journals on my wishlist, awaiting to be bought...If you know anyone journaling, this journal comes into the cutest slipcase which makes it a great gift.

Excellent quality, lovely thick paper
I love my journal so much. Its changed me into someone who actually remembers abd gets things done. I chose to paint the actual cover and varnish it so my example looks pretty different from the original.Pages are think and most pens dont bleed through. It even has a test page near the back. Big pocket for your important supplies, its always neat and tidy and comes with a protective cover. My only complaint is the pen that i received ran dry pretty much a week into owning the journal, but overall i would highly recommend!

Perfect for Bullet Journalling
Last year I was torn between Scribbles That Matter and Dingbats after trying a LEUCHTTURM 1917 and being horrendously disappointed with the thin pages and ghosting. Both seems to be very similar and decided to go for a Dingbats last year. When looking at the two this year, I noticed that Scribbles That Matter seemed to have increased the paper thickness and I was excited to give this ago. This journal has Lovely thick paper, with little to no ghosting or bleeding. Two book marks are always handy. The paper in this journal has a texture to it and is not as smooth as the Dingbats, which I prefer. The paper is also white, where as the Dingbats is cream. I do really like that the pen loop is secured with a metal stud at the back and is still going strong- the Dingbats pen loop was glued in and it fell out after a few months.Although the cover is lovely and smooth and a nice texture, it does scratch easily and leaves slight marks. I tend to put it back in the cardboard cover it comes in now if I want to transport it in my bag which makes it more bulky. The pages are also narrower in the Scribbles That Matter than the Dingbats, which did bother me at first, but I have gotten used to.Over all, I find this to be an excellent journal and will be happy to continue using it.

Robust journal with thick pages!
I bought this journal to try after my go to Tumbitri Meri only had limited colors, most the colors in stock I had purchased previous years. Here's what I like about the STM journals:Thick 160gsm pages that do not bleed through. I use a mixture of fountain pens, glass nib pens, brush tip markers, and ink pens for my bullet journals and found these pages do not show ghosting from the opposite page.Standard grid size of 27 dots across by 39 dots down. I don't have to rethink my layouts that worked in the past. An added bonus is the middle dot is marked by a small line rather than dot, with a + for the absolute middle of the page, so I can quickly find the center of the pages if my design needs to start there. The STM includes index pages, a back pocket, and pen test pages in the back. The back pocket I can live without since I typically have a cover over my journal, but the pen test pages are nice and the index I would consider recommended in bullet journals. Some cons:Cover is soft, which I love, but also will "dent" easily. The rubber closure of the book already created a mark on the binder, but with my journal cover I won't be using the elastic band, and the cover will protect my journal.I could live without the pen that comes with the book. I have my go-to pens and while it's nice they included a pen, it's not one I would use daily. The STM journal only has149 dotted pages (not counting index or pen test pages). My Tumbitri Meri had 220 pages (again not including index), with pages at the back that were removable. There are no removable pages in the STM, which is OK but I did like that feature in my old journals.I have gotten to the point that I don't think one journal will get me through a year of bullet journaling, so I will need at least two for my year. So, for the cost, this journal will be a good alternative, but I wish there was a journal that had about 250 pages. :)I have had no issues with the glue sticking pages together, but I have only purchased the Pro 160 gsm journal, I don't know if others have had issues with the Iconic or 120gsm books. I have heard others have seen this.Pages are bright! For me this is not an issue, I can see the dots well, but if others are looking for more off-white or cream pages, this one is not it.All in all, I recommend the STM books. I love the variety of colors and paper weight choices they have and am overall happy with my switch to these journals. With a few additions (removeable pages, 250 pages total) this journal would be my perfect journal.

Best BUJO ever
For me, it's the perfect note book in every way. The thickness of the page, line alignments, size, page numbers, index, everything I wanted of a journal is right there. I got the STM pouch to carry it and my pencils around, and I'm in love.

Moleskine Convert
I love these dotted journals. I used to be a Moleskine loyalist, but lately the dotted journal selection for them had gotten smaller and less appealing. I even started to wonder if Moleskine is deliberately shunning the BuJo market specifically. Well I’m sure glad to have found this brand. The paper is beautiful, the case, pen, pen loop, double bookmark and wide array of available colors is quite impressive. Features that even Moleskine doesn’t have! As a bullet journaler of more than 10 yrs (yes, I started the same year Ryder did), I’m hooked!
