I am really hooked on this lipstick! It's very long wearing and it's super gentle on my lips. I've tried long wear lipstick in the past and found that it dried my lips out too much and irritated them, like it sucked the moisture out of my lips. This doesn't do that at all! They feel very comfortable underneath, no itching, and don't feel dry when I take it off at the end of the day. It has a really pretty matte sheen, and I like the scent, kind of vanilla.Let me address some common complaints among other reviewers and why I think they're wrong. First off, it is really easy to take off if you know what you're doing. Oil takes this stuff off quite easily, so do some makeup wipes. Most lip balms will take it off as well. For example, I use laneige lip balm at night and it takes it off just fine. Put some on, rub your lips together, and then wipe off with a tissue. Neutrogena makeup wipes also take it off.Secondly, I do agree that this product is very sticky. I have found that I can put my Mac lipglass on over top and now it's not sticky anymore! Also the gloss gives it a nice sheen or glitter depending on what shade of gloss. And most importantly, Mac lipglass does not take it off, yay!Third, because oil takes it off, depending on what you had to eat, it will or won't survive your meal. So some people say they had really good luck with it lasting all day, and other people complaining that it's worn off after a few hours. I think it really depends on what you had to eat that day. If I have something light and non-greasy for lunch like sushi then my lipstick lasts the entire work day without needing a touch-up. If I have a lunch that's heavy on oil, like salad dressing or a lot of butter, then I have to reapply after I finish eating. But one touch up in the middle of the day to freshen up the center of your lips is no big deal! That still wayyyyy beats any kind of conventional lipstick.Fourth, your lips need to be totally clean and oil free before you apply. And this stuff takes about a minute to set. So if you're putting it on, say, on top of lip balm, it isn't going to be long wear lipstick. Likewise, let it set well before you go off for the day. If I get lipstick on my teeth, it's usually during this period where it hasn't set yet. If that happens, I just wait until it is set, and then wipe it off my teeth with a Kleenex. Not a big deal at all!Now on to the colors... I am extremely fair skinned (usually the lightest color in any foundation brand), blue eyes, cool undertone, and brown/ reddish hair. On me, I really like the way dreamer and lover look. Very flattering and works well if you have cool undertones in your skin. I like poet, but it's almost a little too orange/ coral for my skin tone. I agree with other reviewers that seductress doesn't look at all like the photos online. That shade is way more brown in person. Like a '90s brown... I'll probably wear it some, but definitely not the most flattering for cool toned skin. I definitely plan on buying another color or two. At this price point, it's pretty easy to experiment. Do yourself a favor and give it a try!

I purchased this because so many others had purchased it. I am shocked how well it stays on until taken off! Comes off easily with make up remover but you can't just wipe it off. It does not dry my lips but it does stick a bit on the ends of the lips. The staying power is worth it. I will next try a shimmering one. This shade looks like a light coral on me. Very natural looking.

This Maybelline Super Stay Lipstick is definitely as advertised. Super stay. It’s a bit sticky when you first apply it, but it dries quickly and stays on all day. Seriously, it’s tough to get off without makeup remover, and it even leaves a tint after you’ve tried to remove it. My only issue was that the shade I picked was a bit more pink than it looked online, but Maybelline was great about refunding me so I could get a shade that I actually wanted.I ended up regifting it to a friend who dives, and she loved it! It stays on even through her meets, so it's perfect for anyone who needs long-lasting color. Overall, it's a great product, just make sure to double-check the color before purchasing!

I'm using the shade lover in these pics. I've been searching for a quality lip-stain for some time now. This truly has such longevity!! I'm so surprised to still see the full color at the end of the day, looking just as good as when I first applied it. I will say, it lacks in being moisturizing but I don't really find that bothering me, most lip stains tend to be that way. At first I thought the shade might be a little darker than I would like, but it grew on me!! Looking forward to trying new colors in the future!

Arrived in box unsealed with no blister pack or anything; just kraft paper! Not sure if it's been used or what but not taking any chances. Color was off from what is shown. I know monitors are different but this was WAY off! More red orange then brown. Decided to buy from Amazon since I got my first one in store and it worked great.Contacted Customer Service for a refund but the item is unreturnable with NO REFUND. Initially was told to contact Maybelline but tried again with CS Chat and received my credit.I suggest buying this in store so you know it's sealed and you can see the color in person. Waste of money & time!

BRIGHT RED , was perfect for my 9 year old cheerleading event it stayed on all day , she ate drank and played was perfect , went on easy , quality perfect, make sure you do have Makeup removal with you , just in case you missed you lip when applying, so you don't stain your face , my daugher loves this color and taking it off is super easy with.
