Pure. Nostalgia.
I am so elated / excited that I have found this particular Magic Treehouse book! So much nostalgia growing up as a kid reading these books - this in particular being my favorite. An easy read and good for little ones inerested in reading.

Great. Book
I read this with a group of students. I bought each student their own book to keep. They loved the book. They said they are all reading it again over winter break.

Good replacement to iPad
I do not have a good reading habit and that’s the one of the things I regret growing up. I have two boys and I am hoping I can at least introduce reading to them so they can pick it up as a habit. For my 7 year old boy, iPad has been his primary companion when he has free time. He mentioned he wants this book one day and I was skeptical at first but it is only 5 bucks so I bought it to him without too much expectation. This book totally changed him at least for the past week. He reads it every night after dinner and before bed which is his normal “iPad” hour. I even asked him to explain to me what the story about and he did that with enthusiasm. I am glad I bought it and I plan to buy more.

Christmas in Camelot (Magic Tree House, No. 29)
The book is a gift for my 8-year-old grandson, and I know he loves this series of books. I was a bit disappointed in the condition of the book when I received the shipment. The book jacket was crumpled on the bottom. I worked at it a bit to straighten it out, put it under some other heavy books, and it looks okay now. However, after paying for a brand new book that is a gift, I think it ought to look better.

Christmas in Camelot (Magic Treehouse #29)
My [...] year old son absolutely loved this series. I had to read it to him, though. When I would stop reading for bedtime he would be so excited to know what came next he would always beg for just one more chapter. We are now rereading the books (he just turned 7). As his reading skills improve, he is beginning to pick out words and phrases as I read to himThis book was on of the Merlin series and had a more magical component to it. There are Christmas references but it is definitely not a real "Christmas" story. It can be read any time of the year. The story is about a brother and sister Jack and Annie. They have a series of clues to get to quest which is given to them by the magician Merlin. You can read this book alone, but I would recommend reading some of the earlier ones in the series to get to know the characters.

Chapter book for 4 year old
We found out that our four year old was excited about listening to chapter books - but after a few here and there that we found to be age appropriate, we were without ideas. We asked our local librarian who really didn't have any ideas for us - and then we lucked into Magic Tree House books. They are a treasure! Annie and Jack's adventures are not only age appropriate for a curious 4 year old, but they introduce history and situations that we would be otherwise unlikely to grab her attention (Shakespeare, civil rights, etc). These books never get old to her - and it is rather refreshing to not have all the marketing items (dolls, bed sheets, etc) that usually get pushed with a product.

Well loved book
My 6 year old son requested this for Christmas. He very suddenly loves the series. It’s a bit more difficult than the regular Magic Tree House series and has more words per page and pages per chapter so he was a bit intimidated at first. However we read the first few chapters together and after that he got the confidence to read them alone and he loves it!! He wants the whole series now.

Magic Tree House
A good read for children as well as for their parents (uncles, aunts, etc.) Perhaps a little difficult for the really young (i.e., those under 10 years old). A lot better than children's T.V. and other such tripe aimed at getting young people to buy their toys, books, clothes, etc. Mary Pope Osborne has done a good job in getting children to think about the world around them as well as much of interest in the past.

Great Book Series
My 8 year old can't read these books fast enough. We love Magic Tree House. It is a great series to read together or alone for the kids.
