Saved Me the Cost of Two New Batteries – Absolutely Brilliant Charger!
I bought the NOCO GENIUS10 10A Smart Battery Charger for my Volkswagen T6.1 camper van, after being told both my batteries were finished and needed replacing. I decided to give this charger a try before spending hundreds on new ones — and I’m so glad I did! Within a couple of days, it completely reconditioned and revived both batteries, bringing them back to full health. They now hold charge perfectly and start the van effortlessly every time. This unit genuinely paid for itself the moment it restored those batteries. The reconditioning mode is fantastic, and the built-in temperature compensation ensures safe and efficient charging regardless of the weather. It automatically adjusts the charging profile, which is ideal for a camper van parked outside in varying conditions. The GENIUS10 feels well-built and very user-friendly. The indicator lights clearly show the charging stage, and setup is as simple as connecting the clamps and pressing a button. It works with both lead-acid and lithium batteries, giving great flexibility if you ever upgrade or use leisure batteries. I also appreciate that it’s a true set‑and‑forget smart charger — no risk of overcharging or damage, which makes long-term maintenance effortless. After seeing what it’s capable of, I’d recommend the NOCO GENIUS10 to anyone with a car, van, or camper that’s prone to battery drain. It’s one of those rare tools that actually delivers beyond expectations and saves serious money. A must‑have for any vehicle owner!

Great battery charger 6v-12v
I recently purchased the NOCO GENIUS10 and I’m very impressed with its performance. It’s compact, easy to use, and feels very well built. I’ve used it on both car and motorcycle batteries, and it handles them with no problem. The smart charging feature takes the guesswork out – it automatically detects what the battery needs, whether charging, maintaining, or even reviving a low/weak battery. The desulfation and repair mode are nice extras, and the temperature compensation gives peace of mind for year-round use. I also like that it works with both lead-acid and lithium batteries, making it very versatile. It charges efficiently without overheating, and the overcharge protection means I can safely leave it connected for maintenance. The cables and clamps are sturdy, and the overall design is much more modern compared to older bulky chargers I’ve used. Overall, it’s a reliable, smart, and powerful charger/maintainer. Great value for money and definitely a worthwhile investment if you want to keep your batteries healthy.

Decent 12v charger - Repair Mode Didn't Work for Me
We have been having issues with both cars that we own over the last 6 months. During lockdown the cars were not nearly used as much as they were previously, therefore the batteries appear to have somewhat suffered! Modern cars now have a lot of extra electronics that are 'always on' and this provides a constant draw on the batteries. Both vehicles stop/start stopped working and my car kept flashing up low battery every time i turned off the ignition. As a result i decided to invest in a battery tester to see the state of health of each of the batteries. My partners car flagged up 'replace' with a health of only 11%, mine was 'Replace' with a health of 53%. When i researched prices of AGM and EFB batteries i was astonished to see how much they were. For two batteries this was going to cost me nearly £500. As a result i decided to see if i could revive them. Having spent a lot of time researching the best way to do this i came across the NOCO chargers. The 10amp one seemed to fit the bill for me. Whilst this was expensive the reviews were good and it included a repair mode - besides it was a lot cheaper than two new batteries! The NOCO Genuis 10 is a well built substantial device, even the battery clamps are very well made. Much better quality than my older 12v smart battery charger. Instructions were simple and easy to follow, although the print is super tiny so i did find it a little tough to read. I charged each battery to full which strangely only took a couple of hours. The LED charge status lights are simple, no percentages just a increasing bar graph which changes colour according to the SOC. When each battery hit the maximum the NOCO pulsed green. I then started the repair mode. This takes 4hrs. I then tested each of the batteries again with my computerised health tester - unfortunately this made zero difference to the heath of either battery. I kind of expected this on the EFB battery noting the health rating, however i was hopefully it would repair the AGM. On the smaller EFB battery the health had even decreased from 11% to 6% after the repair mode, the charge however had gone up significantly. It was clear that i needed to replace both of the car batteries. I feel it was worth a try though - shame it didn't work out for me. Would i recommend this device? It has glowing professional reviews, it is very well made and feels like a quality product. Yes you can get much cheaper chargers, however you really don't know what these are doing to your batteries. I am happy with my purchase and will use the charger to do top up maintenance charges on both cars periodically. One thing i would have liked on this device would have been a digital display to provide more information such as charge percentage and voltage etc, alas this only has basic LED lights which provide very limited information to the user. It you want to look after your expensive batteries, and are willing to invest some serious cash then i don't think you can go far wrong with the NOCO, just don't buy it solely for the repair mode as you may be disappointed with the results. I hope that you found my review helpful

Unreliable, don't buy
My experience of NOCO products over the last few years is not great. I bought two NLP 14 motorcycle batteries one of which died for no obvious reason after about a year. I had originally charged it with a Genius 10 charger, with which it is compatible, and it started and ran the bike okay but went flat after a few weeks of standing, something the lead acid battery never did. The other NLP14 on a different motorcycle was fine over the same period. To be fair to NOCO they sent me a replacement but it took a few weeks, which was a pain. To avoid a future recurrence I bought a Genius 2 charger and wired it permanentluy to the battery with a NOCO socket accessory so I could easily attach the charger while the bike was standing. This appeared to work fine for a few months, especially over winter when the problem was most likely to occur. Unfortunately a few days ago when I reconnected the Genius 2 there were no lights, no sign of life. Again, after a bit of faffing about NOCO offered to send me a replacement charger. It will probably arrive in a week or two, which is a pain. So I got my Genius 10 , which hadn't had a lot of use until today when I used it to charged a lead acid battery on my car. I plugged it into the bike and it appeared to be working fine but then suddenly started to do odd things with LEDs flashing in ways which do not appear in the manual and technical support could not help with. They told me not to use it and they would open up a claim for me. Turns out it's not long out of warranty so they want money to replace it. Only about half price but the question is, do I give them more money or do I just give up and buy something more reliable? I don't want to be constantly worrying that the charger won't work, or worse catch fire, or the battery will give up in inconvenient or dangerous place. These are not the cheapest products and they pitch themselves as the premium end of the market but they have proved to be far from premim producets, so I'm going to say it's a no.
