These CDs are a seminar type of presentation. The message is very good and makes a lot of sense. It is very applicable to those of Faith and those looking to improve their marriages in the areas of (roles of husband & wife, kids, relationship, finances/money,communication, parents/in-laws). There is seldom use of Scriptural passage. The material follows similar fundamentals as other marriage advice from religious leaders.I highly recommend that everyone that reads this book or listens to the seminar do your own search into the Bible about what God has written in accordance with man's role in the family, woman's role in the family, their relationship to each other and what is required to be saved.

I already have the DVD set & workbook. Ordered CDs since it is easier to hear as I drive around than to make time to sit down to watch DVD format. I have been married 33 years although much of that time not happily. Upon first hearing Jimmy Evans on tv I have ordered material from his Marriage Today ministry. I find the content & delivery of material to be true, enlightening & helpful. He gives real examples from his own life & is often humorous. I have bought material as wedding gifts since discovering this source. Also Drs Les & Leslie Parrot have helpful, practical advice in their material. Bought the CD series and enjoyed the Biblical teachings on marriage. Regardless of the number of years you are married, there is something in these CD's everyone can learn to improve their marital relationship. I think the section on sex in marriage was a little too long and involved--but maybe he wanted to keep all of the sections the same length. I was mildly surprised that he didn't touch on outside influences that negatively affect a marriage, such as drugs and alcohol. Otherwise, easy listening and full of wisdom.

This is amazing. My new wife and I really took a lot from this. We will gift it to friends and probably come back to it again in a few years. Absolutely amazing.

This has been a great resource for our marriage group. Even after almost 20 years of marriage, we found ourselves asking eachother questions about things we have never really discussed. One couple was on the brink of divorce (seriously, they came to the class to see how to deal with eachother until they could make it final) and I can say that after 2 years from the class, they're still together, stronger and happier.We bought this for family members and know that it will have the same impact on them as it did us! Strong or suffering marriages, this is a great resource!
