Best Clog Destroyer!
This product worked like a charm. I never used a clog destroyer before so I made sure to follow the instructions closely. Wait 15min and after that put boiling water down the drain. I used it in the bathtub when the water was going down slower than usual when I showered. I used an electric kettle for the hot water. After 15min, I poured the water down and it was fixed. No weird smells, nothing hazardous. It was fixed in a snap.

Freakin MAGIC
Works like magic. I have a drop in sink stopper which was covered in hair and other nastiness so I just dropped that in a solo cup and covered it with Liquid Plumr. I let the stopper sit completely submerged in the solution for 30 minutes or so and dumped boiling water over it and it was basically new. Before getting this solution, I've just been buying new stoppers whenever it gets clogged as I was just too lazy to untangle all the hair and clean out the nasty; but now with the Liquid Plumr and hot water, the stopper is basically new! So far, I've used it in my shower, and two sinks and it clears up the clog like nothing, restoring water flow basically as good as new. Super easy to use, just poor it in, let it sit for at least 15 minutes (I personally let it sit for at least 30 minutes) then follow it up with hot water (I personally boil a pot of water and dump it). I would recommend using this once a month or once every 2 months to prevent any type of clogs in the future 11/10 would recommend!

Holy moly, it actually works
Tried everything on the clog I had in the bathroom sink: plunger, hooks, hot water, whatever. Poured a bit of this in, waited 15 mins, then washed it down with boiling water. Cannot believe how easy and effective it was, no more clog! In addition my apartment has cast iron pipes. Flushed everything down really well and no damage.

Life Saver for clogged drain
Liquid-Plumr Pro-Strength Clog Destroyer really lives up to its name. I used it on a slow-draining bathroom sink that had been building up for weeks, and within 15 minutes the water was flowing freely again. It’s easy to pour, doesn’t have an overwhelming chemical smell, and works fast without needing to plunge or snake the drain. I also like that one bottle gives multiple uses, so it’s great value for the price. Definitely a must-have for any household dealing with tough clogs

Unclogged Stubborn Apartment Sink Drain
First time using this brand in many years. Instructions said to use 1/5 of the 80oz botle. I probably used close to half. Waited 15 minutes then flushed with hot water, like the instructions said. Unclogged a stubborn apartment sink drain. I would get this one over Draino again.

Hit or Miss; Depends on Clog. Check out Thrift Granules for Stubborn Clogs.
Usually this has worked for me in the past, easy distractions, no fuss, not caustic or dangerous like lye or granules that can get everywhere. Since I have a service dog, her safety is paramount so didn't want caustic fumes for inhaling nor anything that could burn her lest she make accidental contact with it. I've gotten better results from Liquid Plumr than Draino in the past, so opted for this. There's a lot of gunk built up in my kitchen sink drains, and after days of draining slowly, one day she simply didn't drain at all. I was stuck between a decision of using lye, trying another bottle of this, buying a snake (which wouldn't have fit down my unremovable drain holes), so bit the bullet and called my management company who happened to have a plumber on hand (thank goodness - clogs can be expensive!). I figured I'll let him fix her right up and talk to him about what he recommends. He's been a plumber for several decades. While this can do the trick on less clogged pipes, and has worked for me in the past, I watched as he plunged my sink first, then once there was some drainage again, he used these granules called, and said they're the only thing he recommends. On fully clogged drains, nothing is guaranteed to work, so while I had let the Liquid Plumr sit for a long time and did get a little bit of drainage before he arrived and used the plunger, the clog was apparently farther back into my pipes and he had to go underneath my mobile home to access and clear out the clog. So based on the grease build up, there was little chance that the Liquid Plumr would've done very much other than make it appear a little less clogged. I'll still use it for maintenance, so that the grease doesn't build up again to get as bad as it did. One thing I liked about it is that whatever is in it helps make the stainless steel of my kitchen sinks look shiny again after being built up with gunk. But overall, giving it three stars since it's worked for me in the past; this particular clog needed a professional. And his professional opinion is that the only substance he recommends is those Thrift granules for $13.99. Because the Liquid Plumr helped clear the built-up gunk out of the sink itself, it wasn't just wasted money down the drain (pun unintended). Pros: - More effective than Draino brand if you're choosing between the two. - Less dangerous than Lye. - Inexpensive to try this first before going another route if necessary. - Works best if the clog isn't already fully closed up - try plunging first. - May be all you need with some boilng water to do the trick (seriously - boil the water; don't let the tap run cool water as it is warming up; the heat activates the substance). - Makes the stainless steel of kitchen sinks really easy to clean, in fact it kinda cleans organic gunk without any scrubbing if it builds up in sink. - My clog was food/organic material from the kitchen. This product seems to work best for me in bathroom build ups like hair, nail clippings, and other easily dissolvable organic material as opposed to food particles. - Not a strong smell and doesn't need serious ventilation. - Much safer for use around curious pets than any lye or caustic substance which can get everywhere and thus totally burn their sensitive tongues or paw pads. - Packaged well from Amazon without other items in the box to ensure that in the rare case that there's a leak, nothing else gets ruined and you're not opening a caustic powder that can get everywhere when you open the box. - Cost is reasonable for the quantity, especially if it works with the recommended/suggested amount; you should have plenty leftover for several uses. - Much less dangerous than many other substances. Cons: - I used the entire bottle to no avail this time. I should've plunged the sink first before using it to get her draining even a little bit. - Doesn't work well for completely clogged drains. - Hit or miss, and unfortunately, this review isn't going to help you identify which situation you'll be facing. - While it's worth a try as first resort, for around the same price as the Thrift granules, based on what my plumber said, in the future, I'd opt for Thrift (which got really good reviews on here - don't be fooled by products like lye-based "snazzy-mamed" sounding products that look miraculous and super fast in their videos on here - Ai makes everything look fabulous nowadays - but many of those can cause a cement-like blockage, especially if you use anything other than absolutely boiling water. Watch out for lye-based products that are often Free Amazon Vine Reviewed products, so people are more generous and less honest with their star ratings). Hope this helps someone!

I put almost the entire bottle to my shower drain and left it overnight (8-10hrs) before putting boiling water. Magically when i checked the drain in the morning, the water was not stucked up anymore. I poured boiling water then waited 3 hours to put a pale of water into it to try if the water flows or not. I was suprised that it continuously flowed. No more stagnant water on the floor eventhough there are still gunks left on the bottom. I mechanically removed those gunks for best result. It has no strong odor too unlike other products which has a very nauseating smell. I think this is also safer to use because it will not make any shockingly and dangerously hot foamy eruption when boiling water is poured. I am amazed with this product. 100% effective based on my experience. The cons is this product does take time to do it's job. Don't expect it will be effective as fast as 15minutes. You gotta wait for several hours. But that is not a big deal for me to wait. Just be patient and wait for it to magically work. It did really work suprisingly. Thank you so much for creating effective product like liquid-plumbr clog destroyer gel.
