Pokemon Origami: Fold Your Own Pokemon!

My kid loves it. Some characters, it is not easy to follow the directions, I have to spend time to help him understand. Some characters require you to cut into the paper, like Pikachu, if you didn't pay attention, you will end up ruin your origami. I ended up had to tape the cut off pieces together and went through it my kid. So the book might be challenge for some younger kids and even adults. And it is almost a must that it requires parent's participation. However, it is a good bonding time between me and my kid and I really believe it will be a good boding time for you and your kid as well.

My 9 year old son LOVED this idea. He is new to origami, and just a warning, some of these are very difficult for younger kids, I definitely had to help him and was fairly confused myself. I think we just need a little more time and practice and we'll be good to go. The pictures and instructions are very good, I think if we had more experience with origami we would have been fine.

These are very fun origami projects. They can be a little challenging for young kids. Great for bigger kids 8+ or adults!

Coolest origami for kids. Easy to follow steps and bright colors

These are fun to make and very cute when done! Instructions are very easy to follow. All you need is the book and a pair of scissors. However, it is Origami, so it could be quite frustrating if attempting to do with any children who haven't yet mastered cutting straight lines or folding straight lines. But I highly recommend otherwise.

It took me too long to do, too many folds and somewhat difficult to make.

I bought this as a gift for a girlfriend of mine who is an artist and geek like myself. She adored it. The pages have wonderful detail and they're a decent challenge. The complexity of the fold and alignment with the printed elements make this fun. Children could do it, but I think to make them look like the cover takes a bit more dexterity and patience. I had a hard time giving it to her and might by another!

I was concerned that the numerous steps for a project would be too much for a 9 year old to follow but I was proven wrong.
