Tremco 116 Vulkem Polyurethane High-Performance Sealant, Buff

This stuff is sticky, and remains malleable for a few hours. I have two contractors who swear by this stuff and they seal all their energy efficient homes with this product. It remains pliable even in hot dry climates which gives it better adhesion to a variety of surfaces. It has preformed better than expected and sealed the seams and cracks I have used it on very well.

Used it to seal joints between panels on a metal shed. Not the cheap, flimsy kind of shed--a heavy duty shed. Metal is about like the metal used on school lockers and the panels have flange edges that butt up against each other. This stuff not only gave me a perfect color match, it gives a seal that I have a high level of confidence in. Since applying, we have had some torrential rains and hot sun and it has performed perfectly. I had to reapply some because I did a poor job on one area that was hard to reach. The sealant that I removed was flexible so I can see why it seals so well--it contracts and expands with the edges it is sealing.Wear gloves when applying. If this stuff dries on your hands it takes a fair amount of scrubbing to get it off. Will buy again for sure.

I use this brand all the time for many jobs that regular silicone just won’t cut itI used this for my foundation , sealing water to stay out of the basement, used it to seal gaps in cement outside, seal around the shed, etc.Just outstanding second to nothing else.It leaves a rough texture, not smooth like window silicon, but way superior in every way.

This stuff is great! Wow! Had a few leaks around windows alonf with some stucco cracks. No more leaks and it blends perfectly with my stucco....very paintable!

Good product. Very rubbery. Good where your might have expansion issues. It's has a slight amount of sand in it to help next to concrete, stucco etc....

Best polyurethane sealant available.
