Ade Advanced Optics 1-Inch Scope Adapter Ring/Mount with Picatinny/Weaver Top Rail for Backup/Second Laser, Anodized Black

It fit the magazine tube of my 5 year old Remington 870 Express Synthetic Tactical 7 round shotgun perfectly; tightened down with no slop and stayed in place through a box of low recoil buckshot. Pull the barrel free, slide the ring onto the tube and replace the barrel and tighten the screws. This lets you start the screws without wrestling with the shotgun and helps avoid cross threading them. I used a tiny drop of blue thread locker. This seems to be a true picatinny rail and my light snapped right on. At least on my shotgun, there was just enough clearance to slide it all the way forward to the mag/barrel ring and have the bottom, rail part still clear the mag/barrel ring so it sticks out in front of it. The rail is long enough to vary the placement of your light or laser a little bit. I kept my light forward but just back from the muzzle to escape the blast and debris but still have the beam out from under the barrel. Only drawback so far is the light switches are pretty far ahead of the fore end. It’s tough to reach them without removing your hand. But that isn't the fault of the adapter and I can always loosen the screws and slide it back to put the switches closer. OK, I really like it.

Got this mount for my shotgun so I could mount a light. This mount fit perfect on my mag tube. Still have me plenty of space for me to still be able to pump the gun. Feels very durable and secure.

I bought this item because it had good reviews, but i didn't see any for the Mossberg 88! It fits my Mossberg 88 like a glove, it contours nicely to my shotgun and looks like it came with it out the box. Looks great, works great, and feels great!Couldn't be happier with how it looks!

I will edit this review depending on the Customer Service that I receive concerning this item. I ordered this adapter to install on my brand new Vortex scope. The item DID fit on my scope, as advertised, however, I am negatively reviewing this item based on the fact that it broke upon the first use. I have the scope mounted on my rifle, so that I can attach a Streamlight TLR-1 Gamespotter to the scope. I had everything set up, and went to the range. On the 4th shot, the adapter snapped off (2nd space from the end), causing the Streamlight to fall on my scope, and then falling to the concrete floor below. Both the light and scope were damaged. Now, anyone reading can look up the cost of the scope and light - NOT cheap items. Neither the scope nor light were the cause of the failure - strictly the adapter. Perhaps I got a lemon, and like I said - I will edit this review depending on customer service. At this time, however, my review stands at a 1-Star for poor quality.I would suggest that if you purchase this item, make certain that you do NOT mount anything past where the base supports the rail. It does fit, as described, but the aluminum that it is made out of did not support my light (not heavy at all), causing damage to much more expensive items.

Not beefy at all. I intended to use for mounting a flashlight which would work fine. Not sure I would trust a large or long scope on this mount but maybe a smaller or shorter red dot or accessory.

Hey, for ten bucks, not a bad adapter at all. I mounted to a Bushnell scope on my Marlin .22 without any problems at all. I have a Streamlight that I want to share with 3 rifles, .22, .22 mag and a 223 AR. I will be buying 2 more of these adapters. As I said, not bad for $10 bucks.

Haven't shot it yet. But all seems fine. I'll be ready for some CQB with whitetails next season. I've come to really prefer a red dot for the close and fast action of deer drives. This mount now gives me the best of both fast, short range, and long range with the scope.

This seems to be a good mount that I use on my rifle to mount a spotlight on for night hunting. So far so good. It has held up on several hunts and fits good.
