Most effective for hammer toe
This device is by far the most effective device I’ve found to straighten hammer toes. I’ve tried several different devices, all were cheap and ineffective. This device pulls the hammer toe down and straightens it,you can feel the tendon that pulls the toe start to relax. It’s taken decades for the hammer toe to form so I don’t expect it will be fixed in a short time.the only drawback that I’ve found is the flat part of the device reaches out beyond the toes and makes it difficult to wear socks or shoes but the part beyond the toes can be trimmed off. Hopefully the manufacturer will make an adjustment for future models.

Waste of money. Do not buy
Do not buy these. I bought these because they were slightly cheaper and now I have to return them. I can still feel that bone or bundle of nerves under my foot when I step. I took one step with these and put it right back in the package.

They help.
I have a very painful hammer toe. It makes life miserable. These help so much. The pain lessens as soon as I put one on it.There are problems though. One is that it's too long for my foot and makes walking a bit hazardous. I may try to cut it to size, but I don't know if it'll work. I'll update the post later.Another problem is that the thin piece of material attached to the bottom is already coming off. I'll have to peel it off or I may trip.All-in-all, it's not very good quality, making it over-priced. I doubt it will last being washed,but it suits the purpose of reducing the pain which is the most important thing.If it was better quality, I'd give it five stars.

Doesn't do a thing. Weak elastic, base slides around & around.
Didn't do a thing for my hammer toe (2nd toe). I have arthritis in every toe, can't spread my toes apart unless I push them with my fingers, they are that stiff. This might be why this didn't do a thing in straightening or protecting the top of the hammer toe. Back to using tape to cushion the top joint on my toe. Maybe it'll work for feet that aren't as crippled up as mine.Also the flat base slides around, even with socks on, it slides. Half way through the day, I had to take it off, was uncomfortable sitting at the wrong angle under the ball of my foot.
