Bought this for our 18 month old daughter and she loves them! While she is not quiet able to put everything together yet she likes the vibrant colors of the blocks and the figurines. The blocks are easily out together and pulled apart and are large enough to fit comfortably in her hand. The set includes special pieces such as slides and flowers. We enjoy playing together as a family and developing our daughter fine motor skills! The Box the Blocks come in is a little wobbly but great for storage and had enough room to fit other duplo sets we already had which was very helpful.

Very good set that has all the basic blocks your kids will need. I have a 3 and a 5 year old and they both love Lego. The Duplo sets are the perfect size block, safe for younger kids and baby's if they manage to get ahold of them. I'm amazed at the amount of things my kids have been able to make with these sets, I've needed to order several boxes as they just keep building. There's a good variety of sizes and colors in each box, and it's nice knowing they are compatible with all the other Duplo sets on the market.

The Lego blocks are great for young age children because there isn't a choking hazard like the small regular Legos. I think it's good to show children's artistic and creative side. Also, help them learn how to build stuff on their own (maybe with a little help).

Got this Duplo set for our 2 year old grandson a couple weeks ago. It was met with instant enthusiasm for building and for verbalizing his imaginative play. We love seeing his dexterity progress daily and the opportunity it gives us watch and join his play. And a bonus: The set comes in a block shaped container that facilitates his participation in clean up when playtime ends.

Grandkids love these. Just as I remember as a kid.

1st we are a family of huge Lego Lovers! We would be wealthy right now if only we'd purchased stock about 30 yrs ago! I've never bought anything w/the Lego emblem that wasn't a good deal. This is not our 1st time to buy Duplo either. But through the years, they've been misplaced or a Grand or 2 has slipped them in their pockets. :) From the very moment the Grands opened them, they can't stop building! Rocket, dog house, garage, garden, on and on. the children are building faster than I can pictures! These particular Grands are 5, 3.5 and 2. The 2 yr old is getting plenty of action too! HX tells us they are sturdy, once connected to one another they stay put unless they are dropped. Great news-two big for the vacuum! We have a year or two before moving to the smaller Lego's. Nice to have a container for them too. This is a starter pack so I see I need to order more. WELL worth the price. And almost $5 cheaper than the local dept store. Grands are creative, happy, entertained and clean up easy! Nothing negative.

My son LOVES these. He has so much fun building towers, dinosaurs - everything you can think of. I will say I was expecting a few more blocks for the price that these are. What they give you doesn't allow for a child's imagination to run wild or build something huge. Also, some of the blocks don't "stay" together very well and come apart easily when you build things. I would give these a 3.5 if I could.
