The media could not be loaded. I need a level for my wall stenciling project. To make that easier I decided to get this laser level. I’m really happy with it. It is designed so you can attach it to a tripod from the bottom using the little threaded female that attaches to the tripod’s male. It takes two AA batteries, That it comes with. It comes with a durable zippered case. It comes with a small stand with magnets (see pic) so the stand can attach to a metal surface if that’s easier. One of the coolest features of the laser level is that it is self leveling so even on an uneven surface I’m able to have the laser level Be straight. I tested it against our very long construction level and it was perfectly accurate. See my video for a demonstration. There are also various brightness options too.

I used vertical points more times than I expected. They are very useful when arranging things such as ceiling lights, because when you maintain balance on a ladder, you can measure on the floor instead of the ceiling. And, if you have a vaulted ceiling, the vertical point feature saves you from having to do some geometric processing. I also like that the level must be turned off to turn it off. This will prevent me from turning it off, but it will loosen the self-leveling mechanism so that it rattles and may be damaged. The small shelf that comes with the spirit level is OK. I used a 10% discount VEUPNKX2 This is a 10% code i hope the level comes with a fixture that can be clamped on a ladder / door / etc. Like some other brands, but overall, I think this level is a better value.

This is a great level for the price. We renovated our 3 story house with it, everything from ceiling lights to wall studs to hanging artwork. My one gripe is with the user design: when you want to check whether it is locked or not, you have to look directly into the laser and try to make out the tiny little lock symbol that isn't even labeled so it's really hard to see - especially when looking directly into the laser. If you want to see what I mean, look at the photos of it. The sliding lock is right below the laser itself. Infuriating because it would have been so easy to locate the switch on a different face of the level. However, this small aggravation aside, this is a handy, bright, compact, durable level.

Update: Got in contact with Kaiweets. Couldn't be happier! They're sending me a replacement. I upped the review to 5 stars for this fact. Now that's customer service... Thank you Kaiweets!Original Review: This laser level was great for the 2 1/2 times I used it. The third time I went to use it, I was halfway through the job and the slider lever broke. Now not only won't it turn on and off with the slider, it's locked in place, so when I hit the power button on top, it doesn't self level anymore. Bummer. I was so impressed to start with, but use caution! You get what you pay for I guess. I see some others have had this same problem. Gonna try to get a replacement, if so I'll up my review due to customer service... We'll see...

Good laser leveler but after two uses the magnet mount that screws into the leveler broke in half. I tried glueing it with super glue twice and it worked for a minute. Tried something strong but to no avail. Would love that piece to be replaced but can’t find one.

This laser leveL just needs two batteries to get ready to use. Unlock it when you use it, and lock it when you don’t use it. It’s just that simple. You can adjust the laser beam with three brightness settings - power saving mode. Be careful not to expose your eyes to the laser beam, and read the safety notes before you use it. You can mount the laser level on the tripod, or put it on the table, or just on the floor depends on your projects. Take the batteries away when you don’t use it for a long time.

Better than expected, does what I need. Don't know how it would work for a contractor, with daily use, but for me, it has helped with home projects, around the house.

For the price, it's a decent product that does what it says. My only gripe is that it could be a little easier to work with. The options for using this tool by yourself are very limited. But, it paints a bright green laser line - with a good bit of distance - that can be easily seen in broad daylight.
