My sister, who's a veterinarian, recommended these to me. I was skeptical until I saw them in use on her cat. They worked great, preventing any scratches/snags as her cat played with her toddlers. I decided to give them a go for our guy at home. Our 3-year-old 11 lb Domestic Shorthair/Norwegian Forest Cat/Maine Coon/Sphynx mix loves to play and uses his hands a lot. We were always getting scratched up and bloodied during playtime, and anytime he would jump on our laps to cuddle. With these nail caps, no more pain and blood! They are very easy to put on, and the glue holds well. They stay on for many weeks, and they're easy to remove if need be. You just cut the tip off like you're trimming their nails, and they come right off. Most importantly, he doesn't walk any differently with them on and doesn't seem affected by them whatsoever. They don't bug him at all, and he doesn't chew on them. Initially, I thought they were on the pricey side, but now that I know how much they improve our relationship with our cat, they're totally worth it. I don't know what we would do without them. Highly recommend!

It’s only been a couple of days but so far so good. Unfortunately, not all the nail caps were a size medium there must be a few smalls mixed in (considering there are only 40 to begin with it makes this an expensive set). The instructions were easy to follow. I have had only one cap come off , I think due to a determined feline but I replaced it and the new one is set. The nail caps are doing their job as the cat cannot get clawing traction on my carpet or chairs! I purchased a second package in size large, solid black mixed with gold glitter. Again, the sizing is inconsistent…all solid black are larger than gold glitter. The solid black also seem to be a “softer” rubber and easier to slip on my cats nails. I like this product, the cats do not seem bothered by the caps, and clawing has not caused any damage. If and when I purchase these again, I will select a solid color no more glitter.

Probably a good product, and very cute when they are on the cat.....but, my cat sure didn't like the application process! I managed to get 1 or 2 on per day, so by the time I had the entire set on her front feet, the first ones were already beginning to loosen. The super glue that holds them in place dries quickly---if the cat bucks and fights like mine did, the covers will end up crooked. Maybe if you started using them on a younger cat, so that they got used to the process it would be easier. And, the good thing is, the cat can't scratch your furniture while wearing them!

I bought these to help with my cat who’s going through a bad over-grooming phase. I have gotten a soft cone and recovery suits for him, but now he uses his back paws to scratch himself bald. The package came in a small, cute box; containing the claws in a tube and another box containing directions and the adhesive. The directions are easy to understand and it was very simple to apply to my cat’s nails. I bought these black and gold set, mainly using the black on his nails and it’s true to its colors as seen in the photos. He doesn’t seem too bothered by them and doesn’t try to chew them off thankfully. Overall, I’m glad to have purchased these as it was the cheaper option (I’ve already spent so much trying to help him get better) and already seeing better results in his coat without him trying to scratch himself bald.

These are pretty easy to use. They stayed on for a couple weeks.

Once I received the caps and read the directions I realized they were more complicated than I realized to put on.
