Clever device
My wife and I wanted to have a way to work at our treadmill as we walked one mile per hour. To buy a treadmill desk you foot out $2000.00 We have a treadmill. I read the reviews carefully, ordered this piece, and am not disappointed. It is well made, sturdy, fit out treadmill easily, and fulfills our purpose. However, you will want to purchase 6 velcro straps of about 10" - a foot long to secure the desk to your treadmill, i.e. 3 on each side. Only one came with the device (I was warned about that in the very accurate Amazon overview); apparently that lack was taken into account in the very good price for the item. Nevertheless, get the 6 straps, secure them 3 on each side of the desk, and you will have a sturdy, well made item to hold your phone, laptop, a cup of whatever you want to drink, etc. Clever, well-made device.

It works nice for my treadmill.
I had to look at a lot of different listings for treadmill laptop desks because a lot of them are way too big for my treadmill. I have the Sunny SF-T7603. It's a nice compact treadmill. The bars are about 23.5" in between. This treadmill desk was one of the few that seemed like the right size. I do like it and it does not mess with the handle buttons because it is raised where the side pieces pull out. It feels very sturdy on the bars and doesn't feel like it woulds slip at all. I only walk while using it, though. Not sure how it would handle running I am not sure how you could use a laptop while running, I am not that skilled, haha. The only issue with these desks on my treadmill is that the handle bars are angled down, so it is slanted toward me. I might have to put some foam or something on the lower part to make it level. The one problem, ergonomically, I see with this laptop desk is that the placement for the laptop is not centered because it has the mousepad spot on the right (right handed). You CAN center it yourself by pulling out one side of the desk more than the other. That could help a bit. I am right-handed, but my hubby is left handed. So, he would need to flip the entire thing around and do the opposite. Just a heads up if you're lefty. You wouldn't be able to use the prop up of the laptop placement if you have to flip it around. All those details aside, I am really happy with the desk because I can absolutely work and walk instead of sitting. I tried it for the first time today and I walked a comfy pace of 2.3 mph while I worked on my laptop for 65 minutes. That ended up being 2.5 miles. This makes me really happy because I otherwise would have just been seated that entire time. And I felt really good afterward, too. I don't have to go before or wait until after work to get some movement in.I highly recommend this whole walking laptop treadmill desk situation. Happy hunting if you're still looking for what you need! Cheers. ;o)

Best option for SOLE treadmill
I love my treadmill and wanted to avoid having to buy a desk treadmill ($300+) to use while working if I missed my morning workout or to burn extra energy. I struggled finding a treadmill tray for my laptop that would best accommodate my SOLE F80, which has buttons on the side hand rails. I didn’t want to put any pressure on the buttons themselves or attempt to hang a tray between the rails. One of the product pictures caught my eye because it was demoed on a SOLE treadmill. The tray is sturdy. The Velcro straps are secure (not sure why other reviewers had issues with them). The product is great. And has met my needs as best as possible. You can see in my second photo the tray is resting on the raised plastic area of the buttons. I plan on getting some foam to place under the tray (like the foam sticker used around your front door for insulation) to offer some padding and relieve some pressure from the middle of the tray. All in all, I’d recommend this product. I have full access to all buttons, and can work and walk. #winning

Cheaply made, poorly packed, arrived with cracked wood and exposed staples.
I really wanted to love this treadmill desk. It looks solid, the reviews were great, and it even showed a picture of a Sole treadmill which is hard to find a good desk for because the buttons are on top. I decided to spend an extra $50 to get a premium treadmill desk, plus I liked the idea of supporting a small family-owned business. Boy was I mistaken. The box that the desk was shipped in is as thick as a Lucky Charms cereal box. There was zero padding. No styrofoam, no air pillows, nothing but wood-on-cereal box cardboard and whatever hard surface the shipper decided to bang it on during transit. Who ships a nice wooden desk in such a terrible state? Show some pride in your craft! After opening it and sliding it out, I almost cut my finger open because one of the wood pieces had exposed staples, and during the unboxing, another fell off. There went the drawer guides! Then I noticed part of the desk was cracked.I thought maybe I could look past all this if the guides could be glued back on, but then I actually tried to fasten it to my treadmill and noticed two of the FOUR velcro straps that were promised in the description--were missing. What a disappointment. I think I'm going to go with one of the cheaper desks and try to make it work with my Sole F80. Sellers: use packing materials and corrugated cardboard. There is no excuse for such carelessness nowadays.

I am back on the treadml
I hated working from home for the fact I gained a lot of weight literally not moving hours and hours locked in conference calls. I moved my treadmill from the garage where to be honest is just too hot to run anyway, to my office. I was looking at ways to put my laptop, conference speaker and my mobile monitor. this is piece of equipment provided my that exact solution with the addition of the monitor arm. when I need to use it for my normal desk just unplug and move it over, when I travel just put everything in the bag and go. when in the morning just setting the treadmill to a fast walking pace and slow down a. little when I need to type. it's brilliant, very well made, quality is good and was almost made to fit my treadmill. only slight complaint I would of like to fill the gaps when it's extended to provide a bit more working space, but I am not downing the product at all for this.
