Great item! Sturdy but quite lightweijght.

Seems pretty robust and fits the Amazon description. You need to supply the 9V battery. Instructions are a little confusing as they refer to a ground scraper that comes with the product. Maybe there once was one, but not now, or a least not in my box (and it is not mentioned on Amazon either). There's not much you can do wrong, just switch on when the detector is not near any metal. Products beeps once when you switch on (instructions say two beeps), plus small light for illumination. Would be nice if they could make pack insert accurate, but the product itself seems fine. Range is about 3cm.

Bought this for my Granddaughter so she could start. She loves it and is happily roaming over beaches and fields (with permissions) looking for the next great hoard!!The features are good, adjustable height and sensortivity.

Not bad

First detector, so not expecting much. Seems to work pretty well on first inspection. Didn't come with the advertised spade and even after attempting to contact the seller, had no response.

Not yet used as its a Christmas present

The connector holes to the search coil is too small so it will not fit which means it is unusable. There is a note to say to email the seller but from what I can see there is no email address and no way to contact them to get this sorted without just sending back and getting a refund. Really disappointing.

So all went together fine, slapped a battery in started scanning, all I found was old empty cans, which was a waste of around 5 hours but it was fun, the spare which comes with it is very poor, wouldn't advise digging in mud, soil, grass, maybe sand will be fine but thats about all. Broke after 5 digs in soil. Very disappointing. Overall used the metal dec once, not beeb out since been to busy to look for gold. Might have to get it back out day. Battery lasts awhile. Very lightweight, detector detected silver, gold, tin ect, was really hoping to fine gold. Failed so bad lol. Decent for a starter and alittle fun, think overall I found 78 empty crushed cans underground, must of been a homeless persons patch.
