Works But what you see is not what you get
This works, but the display is no where near as bright as displayed in the product pictures on Amazon. The display is so dim when looking at it straight on, that it needs an external light source to light it up enough to read the display. Interestingly, the display is able to be read more clearly, at least the large temperature readings, when viewed at an offset angle. I found that the temperature sensor was quite accurate and with the available cabling, should be good for any application and placement as long as the wattage is taken into consideration. The user manual is almost nonsensical. After the first intro paragraph under the Function heading, is fairly well written and easy to understand. However, once you try to determine how to set the different functions, it actually makes little sense as it is translated into English. For anyone interesting in this product, the instruction manuals are attached with this review so each potential purchaser can determine on their own if this product meets their needs and they can figure out the various modes. I spend quite a bit of time trying to determine how the set the mode from Air condition to Heat, and was never able to find it as was implied by the manual. Finally determined that the AC/Heat mode is automatically determined based on the turn on temperature and the turn off temperature. I needed heat mode only, so setting the turn on temperature to 68 degrees F and the turn off temperature to 72 degrees F, automatically sets it to heat mode. At least it appears that way, although this is not explicitly written as such in the instructions. This temperature controller has two major modes. The first mode is temperature control mode where the socket power is active when the exterior temperature is within the range set. The second mode is a timer based control that has four subfunctions. F01 function is a cycle timer where the relative time on and time off are set and is not related to clock time as this temperature switch does not have a mechanism for setting nor determining the actual clock time. F02 is count down time, when set, operates for amount of elapsed time that is set. F03 is delayed stop time that runs until the amount of elapsed time has expired. F04 is a delayed start and run time all based on relative time when set. None of the F modes were attempted or used, so these summaries are based on what it appears the manual says. It is my best guess on how these modes work, which is an indicator on how poorly the two page manual is written.

Easy Refrigerator Heater
I use this to control the heat in a garage refrigerator during the Minnesota winters. I plug a trouble light into it and it turn on an incandescent bulb to maintain the temperature and prevent freezing of soda's and beer. Allows for all season use.

Works great!
Super simple to use. Has a timer function but never used that feature. I used it to control space heaters and it turns on at the 66°f I set it at and shuts off at 69°f. If you flip the #s it goes into "cool/ac" mode. Definitely put it in a well lit area or have a flashlight handy as their is no backlight. Other than that, works great for the price!! Have 2!

Works great.
This worked great for my chicken water heater. I set it to come on at 32 and off at 34.

Hopeful but so far, not good
I just received it; the instructions are printed too small to read and the website doesn't seem to work. Seems to only have centigrade settings, which is a pain, but I can always convert. I'll give it two stars; I may add more or take away once I set it up and start using it. Assuming I don't go blind trying to read the instructions! 11/2 update: This thing is VERY difficult to use. The instructions are confusing and almost impossible to read. I sent the seller a message, asked for readable instructions. They answered that they will send me instructions. We'll see. I'll keep it for another couple of days but so far, looks like it'll be returned.
