One should know that this perfume is not the authentic/original that had Bulgarian rose and Grasse jasmine, natural ingredients. I have been wearing this for over 40 years and was surprised and very disappointed by the scent of this new bottle. It smells of citronella, absolutely nothing like the original. There are articles like "what happened to the old Joy Perfume?" I should have read the articles first. If I had, I wouldn't have splurged on this purchase that I cannot return.

This soft, barley there scent is full of jasmine and roses giving a soft, spicy , where did that come from feel. I have worn it since 1963. I fell in love with it then and wear it daily in varying degrees depending on what I am doing. Just a hint is wonderful and when people notice, they have no idea where it is coming from and always love it.
