Nice well-made card reader
Nice high quality card reader. Aluminum body. Very Hardy and well made. I use it for CF cards which are becoming archaic. But I still love my old Canon cameras so I needed this to work with my Mac computers. Very good product. Speeds as good as can be with a CF card. Highly functional and a good value. Plug and Play

The Card Reader You Need
This card reader took all my cards. It reads fast and without hitches.

Worked for me, but only using USB A, not from any USB C ports with adapter.
This actually saved my tail for something I needed to do. It's a quality made product and the only reason I knocked off a star is because it wouldn't work with the included USB C adapter at all. Even though the light was on, it wasn't recognized. I did reboot and also tried a couple different USB C ports on a hub. The ports work fine with other devices. When I used the USB A side it's recognized fine as well as any cards I've put in it. Might be a fluke or even an issue with the just the adapter but didn't have any others handy I could try.

Excellent support from seller
Like so many other things. This reader worked fine until it quit working. Intermittently recognized on two different computers. When it is recognized it's for a random period of 5-10 seconds and gone. Didn't matter if I used the USB 3 plug or the USB C. Same either way. I tried every usb port on my computer and on my laptop. No difference. The seller contacted me with a couple of things to try. After no improvement they provided a free replacement. The replacement reader works great.

Great SD reader
Sets up easy. Loads pics fast.

Too many electronic devices. From Amazon. Do not work.
This card reader doesn't work. The chips don't fit into it. And it's not compatible with Windows 11. My Norton security software. Recognizes. This card reader. But my Windows 11 software does not. There's no discernible way. To tell. If the chips. Have been slotted correctly. Because they don't actually. Fit. Precisely into the slots.

Worked exactly as needed.
My portable camera is an old Canon A-10 which uses Compact Flash Cards. What is provided is perfect for portability and/or laptops. Would recommend getting an USB cable extender for under the desk computers.
