I’m genuinely thrilled with the Dolphin Premier pool robot! It cleans like a champ, sucking up dirt, leaves, and debris from the pool floor and walls, leaving everything crystal clear. This thing is so good that we ditched our weekly pool service and now handle it all ourselves—saving us a ton of cash and hassle. It’s reliable, easy to use, and makes pool care a snap. The only time it needs a little help is with heavy algae on the walls, where I’ll grab a brush for a quick touch-up. But honestly, that’s a small price to pay for how awesome this robot is. If you want a clean pool without the fuss, the Dolphin Premier is your answer. Love it!

Less than a year old and the robot just stopped working. Bought it for Father's Day in 24. When the robot works, it works great. Opened the pool for the '25 season. Cleaned the pool twice and the wheels stopped turning. Under warranty - GREAT. I have to send it back and PAY for the shipping (Less than a year old mind you) and then will be without the unit for a month. Paid $1500 for this unit - lasted less than 1 year and it is already costing me MORE money. So disppointed!!Also the unit is very heavy. I am so disappoined

My old Omeron finally quit after 6 years of hard use. I have been so pleased with how well it cleans my gunite pool that I purchase this same model as the replacement.The fine mesh filter grabs all the dirt and leaves form the pool and is very easy to clean. The filter from my 6 year old unit are still in like new so I am keeping it to do quick swaps before rinsing with the hose.I am always amazed to watch it climb the sides of the pool and clean along the tiles at the water line.My good friend who also has a pool saw mine working and decided to buy one to replace his cleaner. He is also very happy with how well this Omeron works.

Ordered 3/31, received the very next day around lunch. Just in time for all the pollen to begin falling from the Live Oaks that cover the property!We have had clarity issues ongoing and have been leaning on whether or not to upgrade the pump filter from glass beads to a finer media.We had to FLOC our pool and ever since that time, our clarity has been off. The pool would be clear until the bottom of the pool is disturbed and it would get cloudy.This Dolphin has immediately begun to pull not only stray leaves but all of those fine particles!Says it has a 3 year warranty so we’ll see what the longevity is but out the gate, I’m impressed!You can clearly see in the photos the path it’s made on the first few passes. Super happy right now.*********Update after a few days************So the oversized leaf bag is the champ! It grabs EVERYTHING off the floor - sand, particulates, etcWith that said, we did remove as much leaves and debris as possible with the net before running the machine. It’s great but don’t overload it.The ONLY negative I see so far is the wall climbing capability. We also own the Triton PS Plus, and that one will try to climb out of the pool. Only reason i bought the Premier is because some sensor went out and we didn’t have time to troubleshoot, get to a repair shop, etc. Pollen was literally falling from the trees!The Premier isn’t quite as strong but between the two of these, we should be very good. The leaves and sand are more important anyway because I can scrub the side of the pool with the brush.

Do not buy this product from Amazon. The pool cleaner is excellent, however the power supply died within 2 mths of service. At this point I’ve contacted Amazon and the manufacturer, Maytronics, 11 times and we still have not received a replacement power supply, which was under warranty when it stopped working. I think if we had purchased the product from a “brick and mortar” store, rather than Amazon, we would have had someone who had a vested interest in seeing that the manufacturer complied with their warranty promise. I use Amazon regularly, and I generally love their products and service, but for high cost items like this pool cleaner its safer to use a supplier with whom you can communicate face to face.

I needed to replace my old Polaris and saw that this Dolphin had good reviews. My experience with the device resulted in a return for two reasons:1) The basket this thing uses is basically some filters attached to the bottom panel. It really isn’t a basket at all and cannot be any less user-friendly. Turning the thing upside down and attaching/reattaching the bottom grew tiresome. The panel/filters were also much more challenging to clean than a typical basket. My wife, who has the patience of a saint, was even starting to get irked cleaning this thing.2) I chose this specific device for the ability to use the smart app control. I am a tech person who owns a home with a ton of smart devices. As a result, I know how easy it is to create an app that connects to a device via wifi or bluetooth. Unfortunately, I erred in not researching the Dolphin iPhone app before buying their products. Yes, it appears to be rated highly, but sorting by most recent reveals an infinite number of 1-star reviews. It’s safe to say I never got the app to connect to the Dolphin device, which is simply inexcusable for any product at this point.Lastly, I will say that Dolphin has many different pool vacuums and it did a good job of cleaning the pool. Therefore, if you want a Dolphin, find a cheaper one with the typical overhead basket. Also go into it knowing that app will not work.
